And no im not obsessed Joe. Im simply stating the facts.
It doesn't take a genius to work out that if youre having to put a lamp on to read a book or simply see around the house, at 8pm, in northern england, in the middle of May, over an hour before sunset, then its going dark a lot earlier than normal for the time of year. I may also add that my room faces north west and at this time of year on a sunny evening it is lit up brighter than strobe lights in a nightclub. You certainely dont need a light on in there till well past sunset. Not like that tonight though. Tonight it was gloomier than the set of a gritty crime thriller. Theres more to it than just the earths rotation as you can see.
