Evesham LCD TV
Hi,
I'm thinking of getting a V30CLTT LCD and swapping my Toshiba 27WL46 as the Evesham LCD has high def compatiblity + 3 year swap out warranty. Does anyone have one or know if this is a good LCD. The specs are below, thanks....... It seems that this LCD model does not have HDMI or DVI connections with HDCP support.
For future compatibility and for use with Sky High Definition set top box, you should try to find one that supports this. |

Hi rjmachin,
Thanks for the info, It has a D-sub conector for HDef, I've not heard of this conector before, could you just use a DVi or HDMI to Dsub adapter?? Thanks |

It does not have HDMI or DVI so does not have HDCP support. An adaptor will not help. The set has to have HDCP support through either HDMI or DVI as this is content protection for hi-def material. You cannot bypass the HDCP with any adaptors or anything else. It has to be embedded in the unit. I would keep looking for something else.
