It wouldn't be big or clever but I would love it if he just stands up and tell LAS to shove his £250k up his a*se and flounces out

Omg I can't wait to see this. However, this will no doubt embroil this year's series in further controversy.

I wonder if he'll appear on You're Fired as technically, he wasn't?

![]() Can't have anyone giving it hard to his lordship! Wouldn't surprise me if a past contestant or two has told him to essentially fk off when they were fired but they re-shot it to include a "thank you for the opportunity" comment! |

In a strange way, I hope Scott has a 'moral high ground' exit, with Lord Sugar 'attacking' him with a spiteful tirade of unjust, exaggerated criticism, full of distasteful personal comments against Scott, amid gasps from the other contestants.
Then just as Lord Sugar starts to pick at Scott's choice of tie, Scott will stand up dramatically and throw in an impassioned, "I have not passed through fire and death to bandy crooked words with a witless worm!" (Gandalf) Then strides out, earning the nation's applause. It's not going to be anything like that, is it?

You just know well they'd bring him back into the BR and make him record the scene again, this time more 'politely'

That would be brilliant if someone did that and they kept it in. Fcuk you very much Lord Sugar.

It may not be this week. It doesn't say when the incident happened.

He knew what the process was like before getting into it so if he can't take the criticism godd riddance I say. I guess he chose to walk out rather than pull his socks up and show what he is capacle for for once.

I agree, whatever did happen, it'll be edited to make LS look in the right.
This is the problem with a show as heavily edited as The Apprentice - you're never going to know what really happened. |

I'd imagine this won't be as dramatic as the papers are making it out to be.
Scott does seem very sensitive to the point where he can't take any constructive criticism. He got wound up by total strangers refusing to buy from him, he took Sam's comments about his bad leadership so much to heart that he refused to shake his hand after his firing, and now this. I'd imagine Sugar was just running through things he'd done badly in the current task, then comparing it to previous weeks (something he does with almost every firing) and Scott couldn't handle it. From the sound of things, he would've been fired anyway, so it's no big loss. |

I totally got this spoiled by looking at another article on The Mirror website.
Oh but that must have been priceless; Sugar et all must have been flummoxed with what to do, should be great telly! ![]() Scott is the first person to walk out isn't he? Which is surprising... Adele from S1 walked after a family death. But seems that Scott may quit during the boardroom (as far as I'm aware Adele always knew during the task she would walk and announced it in the BR), whereas Scott may quit on the spot in the BR. |

I wonder if that's why the Scott v Brett thing was shown the other week, as a way to pre-emptively discredit Scott. |

The implication from the story is that the criticism went beyond 'constructive'.

Have you read the mail's article "Scott impressed LAS in the latest Birthday Party Task", yeah right, it was a shambles.

He may have been ok last week with the kids party games, but in the discount store week he was worse than useless. He lied about his team mate, he was abusive to random passing members of the public who wouldn't buy tat off him on an escalator. He had no management skills, no leadership skills at all. He just folded under the pressure. I was surprised he survived that week. Quote:
Disrespected and offended? Oh please, pass the bucket. He knew what he was letting himself in for.

I get the impression that the reason why this series has so much 'trouble' and is certainly the worst that I can remember is mainly because Claude is now part of it. He cant see anyone making a mistake. One doesnt know yet what Scott did to deserve his insults but I am sure Claude is at the bottom of it. Karren also seems to be getting worse all the time. She was usually against the girls but now has gone also against the boys. I must though agree to LS that I also didnt find Scott very useful except on the selling tasks. He doesnt seem to be very 'original'. Claude seems to treat them all as though they were in the interview stage. Has he ever had a good word for any of the candidates.

Raleigh withdrew part way through series 6, following a bereavement iirc.
One candidate withdrew before season 5 even started |

Someone else withdrew in one series (5??) before it had even started
But the article says Scott is the first to quit 'in anger' - Adele quit very calmly. I guess that's the difference. |

Sugar has rubbished the stories on twitter. At least the part about it being a row between the two.
So I'm not getting my hopes up, either because it won't be as explosive as it sounds or we'll be getting a watered-down version in the edit. |
