Disrespected was a perfectly legitimate word in the English language long before rap slang was invented. |

From what it sounds like Adele and Scott's quitting will be very similar. Adele also went on about being demeaned and abused and, to be honest, jumped before she was pushed. It sounds like Scott will be pretty similar.

Hey, there is no questioning her credibility. She has criticised the show for not being serious and I fully respect her opinion. Especially after her lingerie pics. Classy and credible.

I agree with Selina about the credibility of the show.
I mean if it really was a professional business show she would have been gone long ago (particularly if she got physical with Charleine). Deep inside that confused brain I bet she's loving the publicity she's getting. No doubt she's going to churn out lots more stories over the coming weeks. |

Show of hands here: Who saw the title and thought it was referring to Selina?
But yeah as has been said, this should be very cool to see. I wonder if he'll politely turn it down or just straight up go "right f*** this, I'm done" |

One can only hope Scott and Selina lead the producers to take more care with candidate selection next series. The fear is they count the newspaper headlines as publicity gold and recruit even more "characters".

Can't say I'm really surprised.
Both Gary and Scott seem to have this perpetual frown on their faces in the boardroom, as if they're thinking "Huh? What? Me? What do you mean by that?" etc. Some people just seem to live in a bubble where they're always right and everybody else is wrong and trying to get them to see sense is like trying to jam a floppy disk into a DVD drive. With a hammer. |

Back in the 1980's people really DID go on shows like Blind Date just to find a boyfriend but even in those days, after Blind Date had been on for 3 or 4 years, you'd get people going on it simply as a "vehicle" for their own career in the limelight. These days I'd say that at least half the people who sign up for shows like Big Brother, Come Dine With Me and The Apprentice are just wannabes who can't sing or dance but want a shot at being famous. The best we can hope for is that the producers have some brains and that they sign-up such people on the basis of their entertainment value in the knowledge that they're going to be discarded and leave the genuinely deserving people to go on to win. |

[QOUTE=lammtarra;80568313]Is he OK?[/quote]
He decided his addiction to the show was affecting his life too seriously so he quit watching and visiting The Apprentice forums! This happened after Episode 4. |

Good on Scott.
He was telling clients about the facilities in the neighbourhood and threw in a fish and chips shop as an after joke. He read his clients well and knew he could mention that. He didn't want to be furher humiliated. He kept his cool. Well done. |

The way Scott did it was bada** as all hell, totally took everyone by surprise when he stayed seating after the prize had been announced. It was a massive dick move to completely blank his team after leaving though I will admit that.
I did think he was justified though, the way Karen tore into him as being out of it for several weeks now was completely untrue and unfair. I feel like Karen took offence to Scott trying to bring down Brett with the whole "He threatened to bash my face in" ordeal and has been targeting the bloke ever since, so for him to snap under the pressure from both her and Sugar... well, I can't blame him at all. Good on you Scott |

I get the feeling that Scott knew his card was marked and unless he did everything absolutely perfectly from here on in, which is nigh on impossible as everyone makes little mistakes here and there, he knew he was done for. With David leaving last week, it was Scott's turn to be under Karen's microscope, think Gary will find himself facing the wrath of Karen in the coming weeks!

I think she'll target Charleine for some arbitrary reason like "Being too shouty for a woman in business and degrading us all", Some really hyperbolic bs like that.
