Dick back tomorrow. Bah!
'Talking about himself for 2 hours' -surprised he was allowed back.

Matthew was doing a lot of talking over and nose wrinkling today.

No Kev today either. Perhaps they've gone away together seeing as he's told us him and the wife holiday separately.

Oliver James, often talks complete nonsense, but rather him on the show today than someone from Geordie Shore or wherever.

... the nonsense has started already. I love David Bowie but Olly is perhaps taking him a bit too seriously,

Storm's a presenter so why not let the little minx front the show now and again? Do wonders for viewing figures.

It still astonishes me that these daily guests get a lengthy ten minute platform to flog their wares, seemingly without Ofcom caring. We usually get a packshot of the book/CD/DVD to go with it as well, so blatant is the plugging.

Where did this turn into terrorism? Nobody knows fully what happened yet, some say she was intervening between two guys arguing.

I suppose they wouldn't come on the show otherwise. What really makes me cringe is when the other panel members have to feign interest in the special guest and whatever old tat they're promoting and ask those clunky scripted questions. I generally switch over when that starts.

It's the length I object to. Let 'em have two minutes to tout their tat and then move on.

Oliver James cashing in on the death of Bowie with that book.
All hardcore Bowie fans...I include myself there... already know those background details about him, the meaning of a lot of his lyrics etc. Why would we long time fans want to read what we already know? and can't see it being of interest to 'fans' who have never even listened to his albums, let alone have any interest in the enigmatic lyrics of many of his songs.

When his beloved brother Terry died, Bowie didn't attend his funeral, because he didn't want it turned into a media circus.

Was that the first Dickedote at 10.06? Quite restrained by his standards.

That tennis stat is BS. If anything they show more women's games than men's because they're shorter. I bet some statistician has confused the length of airtime men's matches get because they play five sets as opposed to many women's games which are often done and dusted in an hour.

A classic case of adding two and two and getting five.

I'm annoyed that there is no Matthew, it seems every time I get to watch that fool Richard Madeley is presenting. Storm couldn't do a worse job fo' sure!

Is Matthew unwell or on holiday??

Dick chums with Cliff and Freud?!?! Apparently Cliff is a lovely man and he knew it couldn't be true. I hope for his sake they won't be playing that clip back when Cliff finally departs this mortal coil.
