Matthew is getting more and more desperate with each caller going against him

'Never' His face is a picture and the sneering starts.
The chin starts jutting forward too when he thinks he's scoring a point against a caller.

Matthew is really annoying me
He shouts down anyone who doesn't share his opinion What's the point of a discussion show if you're.nor prepared to take on board others opinions? He's downright rude and his sour grapes over the referendum is more than evident.
He and his guardianista leftie luvvie London mates are an absolute joke.
The callers hardly have any time as it is. It seems that the main purpose of the callers is for Wright to ensure that they're on message and put them right if they aren't.

And that is why a lot of young people are scared to say they too bored out, oddly all the Indian and Pakistanis I know did too so obviously bigoted oh wait ..... Nope makes no sense at all calling everyone who voted leave bigoted but it's probably what Matthew thinks too.
According the Lord Ashcroft polling questions a third of Asians voted to leave, a quarter of black people voted to leave.
The number one reason why people vote to leave was that decisions about the UK should be made in the UK.
The second reason was to control immigration and its borders.
The third reason was that remaining meant no choice about how the EU expanded it's membership or powers.

But you still get many on social media and in the media in general insisting that it was because people are xenophobic or racist. That's what they want to boil it down to.
This is where most of the divisiveness I see is coming from. You will get racists, we've always had them, but the people accusing others of racism when it's unfounded is just as bad and just as irresponsible when it comes to dividing people and reinforcing negative feelings between people.

Interestingly when I watched the referendum coverage on the night on ITV one of the reporters on location said that some of the people he spoke to told him that they were sick of celebrities preaching to them what to do.

Hear hear.

People who use the phrase, "you can't say anything nowadays without offending someone...", are so used to privilege that they think equality for others means oppression for them because it is scorned upon to use perjoratives to describe people who are in any way different.

Not everyone who voted Leave is a bigot, but everyone who's a bigot voted Leave.
How is that true when most of the bigotry I'm seeing right now is people castigating other people with uninformed accusations because they didn't share the same opinion as them and presenting it as if it's fact?
Half of the population are being accused of things which nobody really knows is true or not. That's bigotry.

She actually thought she'd done the "young" a favour, as if denying them unfettered access to live and work anywhere in Europe was a good thing!

My mother, and everyone else of her age that she knows, voted out because they're xenophobic to the point of racism. Now everything is falling apart she regrets it but make no mistake it was the innate bigotry of most pensioners that tipped the balance in this.
You do realise that not all of 17 million were pensioners, don't you?

Apparently two-thirds of 18-25 year olds didn't bother to vote, so maybe they got the result they deserved..

Well, at least she gets to plug her book rather than coming on to talk just about the country descending into chaos. Still perpetuating the myth she writes her many books on the train into work where most people can't even get a seat. Her best fiction is the BS she trots out to the electorate.

Isn't it more than a little racist to consider the voting behaviour of a number of people based solely upon their skin colour?

Her "train" myth reminds me of Stephenie Meyer who insisted the idea for the Twilight series came to her in a dream.

Dorries so understanding on the issue of post-referendum racist incidents. "They always did happen, but now people just film them on their mobile phones."

How does one even respond?

Corbyn reminds me of President Obama in his reluctance to throw dirt.
Obama was almost infuriating in the dignity he showed in not responding to the the Republican campaigns against him.

Some condemnation here from Wrighty for Corbyn. If even he's lost faith then Jezza is in big trouble.

Sarah needs to seek help if she thinks Corbyn's the man to lead us out of this mess.

Judging his approval-rating from a few posts on Facebook - Give me strength!

Wrighty is spot-on about that shambles of a shadow-cabinet meeting yesterday. If Corbyn had wanted to echo the appearance of a shitty working-mens club from the 1970s, the best Hollywood production designers couldn't have done a better job in recreating that era.

...

Nadine shilling for BoJo, booking a place in his cabinet. Could I loathe this woman any more than I already do? I've not much time for May but I hope she becomes PM just to scupper Johnson and now Nadine's wishes.

One of the worst things Dorries has ever done is make me wish success upon May.

Dorries says an awful lot, rather loudly, without saying anything of any great substance.
