Agree with you. We had it rammed down us every day and it helped a lot and still does. Surprised at the amount of kids that cannot do this today with phones and iPads.

Times tables discussion didn't really go anywhere (not surprising).

Suzi seemed to make it all rather too personal, agonising over the plight of a mathematically-challenged, eight year old goddaughter who has three years to brush up her skills before being tested.

Matthew would likely have tried to humiliate Les and hung up on him by now on the "waste of trees" issue.

Jeremy now racing through his papers.

Suzi didn't do too bad. She is much better when Matthew isn't constantly interupting.”

Madeley does a fair bit of interjecting too but she was having none of it and quickly took control. The news part is topical so either forget the silly discussion topics and open the news up as a debate section, or leave each panellist to read their parts out.

Madeley is ok as a presenter but personally i've always found him too vain. Twice in the space of a few minutes he made reference to his age which smacked of "look at me, i'm almost 60, don't i look beautiful".

A good show today, as expected.

I'm officially an anecdote addict, well from Richard anyway.

That was one of the more silly topics which just wastes time. Some women look great in a bikini whilst others looks great in a swimsuit. Skinny men with washboard stomach go for the Speedo look whilst those with a belly wear bermudas.

I don't hear any men wimping out about the Speedo look!

Yes, Richard does interject too, but, imo, Matthew has a way of doing it that leaves stuttery "ummm, ummm, ummm" people like Suzi and Liz McLarnon taking even longer to get through their sentences.

With only allocating a few minutes to topics, they often have an "and finally", shallow discussion for one of the segments.
Banning the use of phrases like "lose two dress sizes" and "bikini body" is pointless if your magazine still carries the story of how every pregnant female celeb lost her baby weight in X amount of weeks.
Add that to heavily retouched pictures showing perfection not even attained by models themselves, or worse, unretouched photos pointing out dimpled thighs or sagging boobs.

Hollyoaks, legend and Jeremey Edwards in the same sentence. Vodka now and Edwards gets off on it.

Dickie 'you are too busy in America Jeremy' to appear on doctors. My sides are bursting......

Looks like Corbyn is going to have his own night of the long knives and our resident Corbyn lover is off on his sickies missing all the 'fun'. Didums.

The caller that wasn't agreeing with the doctors strike earlier wouldn't have lasted long with Matthew before the sneering and constant interruptions started, but this will all be back to 'normal ' next week.

Yes he would have cut him off and Madeley did at least give the guy plenty of air time.

I don't know the full detail of what's on offer and 11% sounds extremely attractive, but as the saying goes, if it sounds too good to be true then it generally is - and in this case i think it is. Hunt is giving with one hand but taking more back with the other by slashing weekend working rates.

Rats in a sack come to mind with Corbyn and his merry bunch. Thornberry is an idiot of the highest order and should stay away from Twatter.

Wheres Matthew when you need him?

Caller Ben seems rather enthusiastic to have a chance to speak on tv.
Not a big thinker by the sounds of it.
