I don't even care what he's saying, I could listen to that Irish guy talking all day.
He's great.

Had to switch off though as there's only so much Dominic Holland I can take. (Is that even his name, I've suddenly gone blank.)

Interesting finding out this is the first time Kirsty and Wrighty have spoken since she left.
Wasn't that odd? Surely as her employer - I think he's exec producer or something - a duty of care to keep in contact to check she was ok would be a given, never mind just being a decent human being and kind. Sounds like she was very ill. MW is one self centered knob!
I couldn't quite make sense of that as i remember Kirsty making a 'one off' appearance in the audience after she'd left the show. I remember it as she seemed thrilled to go into detail of her 'complications' and how their baby nearly died. I like Kirsty but felt she was milking the drama a bit too much, possibly since being out of the spotlight.

I don't know why Wrighty said it was the first time they'd spoken since she left because that's not what i remember.

I do remember her being on and thought that when she said it was the first time they had spoken that her previous visit was when MW was on a skive and maybe the pantless one was hosting?

Wright Stuff on the road? might be interesting to see how this goes, and to spot the audience obsessives who follow him there.

Dominic making zero hours topic all about his son, what about everyone else struggling with these contracts, never mind them, as long as they suit his son.

Bit harsh of Disney putting Tom on a zero-hours contract for Spiderman!

Students, like his son, take zero hour contracts, will work for less than minimum wage, take dodgy jobs where H&S is non existent because it isn't forever. In his sons case it's probably to top up his pocket money, for older students to supplement student loans. Why the man can't see that's different to an adult who needs to support a family, pay bills, need to rely on sick pay sometimes, I don't know.

I'm positive he was on. From memory it was around the Christmas period. Had a look on YT but all clips are of Kirsty during her phone girl period.

They were both being a bit immovable on the subject. I tend to agree with Matthew more though as whatever point in their life, holiday and sick pay is a good thing. When I was a student, I had a certain amount of shifts per week and could get overtime on top of that. It also meant I could take certain shifts off when I wanted and still get paid. I'd much rather that than waiting for the phone wondering and waiting where my next shift was coming and then maybe feeling the pressure to take whatever was offered to me in case they didn't offer any more. Just because students can and will (in some cases) do this, doesn't mean they should have to just because they're students and it's 'not a career.'

Watson doesn't need much cajoling to promote himself does he?

Wrighty already announcing his extended Xmas skive. Seems like there'll be a portion of New Year's Dick coming up.

"Shut Up Shop on Boxing Day?" is their big topic today (apparently there's nothing else worth devoting 25 minutes to). No surprise that a skiver of Wrighty's calibre is in favour of more hols!

Watson thinks an awful lot of himself, never really warmed to him over the years. Is that his hair colour or just a bad dye job. Maybe he should ask ming for tips.

I work every day of the year - Many self-employed folk do. There's nobody paying me to sit home with my feet up. You'd think these days people would be happy to have a job where they were needed and paid accordingly. Plenty of people who need a job that would have no problem working Boxing Day.

Here we go – the day has only just begun and the miserable, bitter people are already working themselves up for an orgy of belittling, name calling, petty jealousy and general moaning.

Well you're obviously lucky you're not having to work at the moment.

Nothing to add to the discussion, just some threadcrapping. Move along.....

It's all hugely ironic/hyopcritical coming from the man who seems to spend an inordinate amount of time moaning in the "Trivial Things that annoy you intensely" threads. Just a tiny sample:

Selfish f**ktards who don't seem to see anything wrong with inflicting their infernal wind chimes on the neighbours, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
I haven't seen it but I'm already hating it.
The intensely irritating and repetitive "adverts" between programmes on the BBC.
And yet more carping at fellow FMs who are simply posting on-topic where you are not, again:

I can't make up my mind whether the posters on this thread are all masters of irony and sarcasm, or if this is simply one of the most pathetic discussions on the entire internet.
Charming:

Is that the one who talks as if she has either had a stroke or is addressing infants? Nice!!! I have to switch her off immediately.
What is it you were saying about "moaning" again....?

Nodded off there during Russell's eulogy to himself and his "driven ambition". Did he accidentally say anything interesting?

Oh, good - Hollyoaks is back on the panel tomorrow. I was worried it might've been cancelled as it's a good couple of weeks or so since anyone from it was on TWS.

Same time tomorrow moaning everyone....?

As Officer Crabtree would say....."Good Moaning"

Having spent years as a nurse working Christmas day.....I didn't moan, just got on with it.
