And yet more carping at fellow FMs who are simply posting on-topic where you are not, again:

What is it you were saying about "moaning" again....? ”

First of all: congratulations on having the spare time and dedication to find those posts. I quickly gave up trying to find any of them in the 15 or so pages it turned up.

Secondly, you are completely missing the point about Trivial Things That Really Annoy You; the whole point of that thread is to vent your spleen, howl at the moon and wail with faux outrage at life's little annoyances – hopefully with a bit of humour added for good measure.

As for the last one you quoted; I have absolutely no idea who on earth I was insulting, but it was rather a good effort.

I'm guessing that the one before that must have come from the music forum – that does do my head in at times.

Moaning all!

Bit of a comedown from Woody Allen to Hollyoaks. She seems a bit fragile.

"Having kids: Out of Fashion?" Another chance for Wrighty to give vent to his weird contradictory feelings about kids?

...

Wrighty not usually shy of citing his personal experience during a discussion and yet entirely silent on his IVF despite Lysette mentioning it herself. "Pressure [to have kids] passed me by" he says to Dom. Odd, very odd......

The book Janet Ellis was plugging last week nommed for a Bad Sex award. It does sound truly terrible, on a par with Melvyn Bragg's potboilers.

You may be right that forehead of his looks incredibly smooth and tight and the ming eyebrows look extra perky.

with lines like these

"'Little beast,' he says to me, his hands on my thighs. 'Here are your flanks, all plump and sweet.'
"And then, sliding his hand over my hips to my waist: 'Your rump, your loins. But you need flaying.'"

expect it to win. Fifty shades of grey it aint.

Probably be in the works in a few weeks given away with every copy of 'writing a book for dummies'

Dom and Yas going at it. Disappointing that they've gotten along most of this week.

Dominic is either in serious denial or just plain foolish if he doesn't think there was an element of "send 'em all home" behind some of the votes to leave the EU.

Like Dr Dave last week, desperate to defend his own vote (when there is no need) that he is prepared to look ridiculous by arguing that there was no racist or xenophobic element behind any part of that vote.

I'm not saying it was 100%, I'm not even saying it was 1%, but we surely all know of some people who let their vote give power to their bigotry.
It's ludicrous to suggest otherwise.

Not everyone who voted Brexit is racist but all racists voted for Brexit.

I have said the same myself (in this thread possibly) substituting racist for bigot.

I am confident that Dr David thought the issue through and made an informed decision in voting "out". I'm not quite as comfortable saying that about Dominic when he uses the phrase "project fear".

Yasmin was completely right to point out the motivation behind some of the votes.
Not entirely sure why Dominic couldn't just accept that some votes came from a place of bigotry.

The bloke who didn't get his girlfriend a present is better off without some passive aggressive, game playing, mind f*cking individual who can't be honest and speak the truth. She sounds like a right shallow b!tch. You tell me you don't want anything, you don't get anything. I'm not being played by some cretin who says one thing but means something else. You're inability to be honest about what you want is not my problem. Rant over!

I feel slightly unclean after listening to the racist, mysandric one reading "erotic" fiction. Although on what planet Janet Ellis thought describing a penis as a peg would be sexy is beyond me!

yeah, well it is straker, one has to make allowances, reducing a complex issue to a childish soundbite.

And then the spouter of 'trendy lefty' and such insults, like they're going out of fashion, dares to quote the late Tony Benn on the EU, a man he no doubt despised during his life.

Firstly I'll quote 1066simon from one of his other posts (thread locked so I can't quote directly):

Quote:
“Everybody is entitled to their opinion”

Seems like hypocrisy is the order of the day here then.

Secondly, getting dissed by someone like HP (who's shown themselves up on various other threads to an embarrassing degree hence this sour grapes motivated post) who thinks:

http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=2188408

...is a suitable discussion topic is just laughable.

And more public embarrassment for him:

http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showp...3&postcount=51

And rampant homophobia AND misogyny in the same post from the same thread as above:

Originally Posted by Hercule Parrow:

This is one to savour from someone who thinks starting a "Who would you stalk?" thread is worth doing:
