As soon as those words came out of her mouth I thought oh no, she'll have Straker and MITP sexting her now

Gerry Cottle rang - He wants his tent back.

...

Is Black Friday the first time we've had sales in this country? All that's happened is they're now fake sales and they happen before Xmas as opposed to when I was a nipper and they were real sales and happened in January.

McGann's right - Selfie culture as a distraction from what life should be about.

I wish I'd been born 20 years earlier so I could fully ignore this nonsense.

If you'd been born 20 years earlier, you'd probably be me.

I rarely take a selfie.

Terry Christian again next week while in Madchester. Must be on a retainer.
On home turf he will be even more demented but still stuck in the 80's and burnham as well. Vodka stock up needed.
I only saw Kev's TV review from yesterday's show. What's the point in the Manchester shows? I'm amazed they've managed to prise Matthew out of his beloved Croydon.

I never have which is surprising seeing as I am devilishly handsome.

Excellent Young Ones reference
To be honest, before Wright started prattling on about them at every opportunity, the only time I'd ever heard of Hawkwind was on The Young Ones.

Pretty poor of Matthew Wright, supposedly Hawkwind's biggest fan, to get Hawkwind and Marillion mixed up on Thursday's show though. Unless he knew he was actually talking about Marillion and didn't want to say it, which is a possibility.

You would've thought they'd make the effort to get different panellists for these shows to the ones they have in London, Mancunians reluctant to travel perhaps (must be a few) but no - Same old.....

"No surprises about who's on the panel today" he says. No kidding!

...

Nice echo - Slick. Don't they have TV studios in Madchester?

Wrighty looks rough as hell. The bags under his eyes bigger than the ones in the background!

33% of kids have a takeaway once a week. Used to have fish and chips once a week, sometimes more, when I was a kid so that sounds like an entirely reasonable figure.

My god, Wrighty's moved at last to Manchester..

God for him! Its about time TWS moved, if Manchester is such a success then perhaps we can have it in Glasgow, Cardiff, Belfast, Bristol..

Mind you they have to sort the phones out - that doesn't look good. And isn't Phil Redmond boring

The London audience weirdos must be beside themselves this week - What do they do until Thursday now? Hang around the arcades, job-centre or betting shop? Exterior of Bayswater today must look like something out of The Walking Dead as TWS audience mills about, dead-eyed and slack-jawed....

Nice to see a real audience for a change, instead of the usual tiny bunch of regular Wrighty sycophants. They don't have to worry about getting banned for disagreeing with Matthew, like the London mob.

But he said at the start that some of the London audience had travelled up with them and were sitting at the back (unseen). Probably looking for the free tea and coffee.

I'm falling in love with Phil Redmond all over again

Technically inept this morning.

...

Four times a week Wrighty has takeaways and according to him the rest of the time it's ready-meals and CBBC! Quite a picture he paints!

I switched off after 5 mins of this cliche ridden tosh.

When they talk about "LONDON and the rest of the country" who are they comparing? The cost of living in London is twice as much as rest of UK, but still we're depicted as toffee nosed rich bastards cos there's no-one poor here is there? Jeez! You'll never find the real world and the world of TV combine.
