We had a situation near where I live where a driver was stopping his car to "chat" to young kids on their way home from school. Of course he might have simply been asking directions, but someone saw him, made a note of his number plate and reported it to the police. When the police caught up with him it turned out that he was someone they had been looking for for sometime for several incidents involving young children.”
Imagine how i felt a few weeks ago then when driving out to a small engineering company, only to find the premises boarded up with no indication of where they had moved to.
It was down a back street and the
only person walking down the street was a woman dressed in full niqab garb with a small child. I hesitated, then thought "what the heck, the worse she can do is ignore me but there is nobody else around to ask".
Imagine my surprise when not only did she stop, she knew exactly where the company had moved to and gave me precise directions in a broad local accent!
I did feel awkward though!
