I'm going to stray from my usual moaning and say that I like Terry. Didn't see much this week so am basing that more on previous appearances. I understand why he annoys some people but I think he is very knowledgeable and interesting. He also can laugh at himself and stands up to MW more than most. He has his flaws but I like him.

I always thought him a bit creepy, but to consider going back if the petition works? Ye-uk!

Straker, I'm serious, send some samples in your naturally witty way to the Mirror. Don't try too hard and sit back. Who knows? They need a reviewer but not his salary (though an excuse methinks). Go for it. Every paper has a TV critic so they already have a replacement or are looking. Just do it and if a no, try local press.

Where did the dog collar discussion arise from? No one including the callers thought to mention a fence!
When I lived in the country I built a post and rail fence with stock wire on the lower rungs. No need to electrocute my dog. Christian mentioned smacking a dog. The only hand a dog should ever feel is one of love.

Terry Christian was thrown by that debate. Bet he thinks there are two types of dog owners. Labour owning Pit Bulls or toff owning Labradors with hundreds of acres.

I've just caught up with this week's The Wright Stuff on Sky+. The day that Bobby Davro was on they were discussing people still living with their ex for the sake of the children. Terry Christian said something like he was taking the 5th on that topic because of his situation, or words to that effect, does anyone know what he meant by that? Sorry I'm just nosey!

So Wrighty's signed the petition so it's going to a bit akward when Kev takes his job!

"National Sickie Day" aka Matthew Wright Day. I see the irony passed him by as he waved at the skivers.

MW mentioned that poet bloke is several shades darker after travelling abroad. Now I'm not watching on my TV but MW appears to be orange! Where has he been over the weekend? And the National Sickie Day irony hasn't gone unnoticed 🙃

He was quite orange himself a few weeks back after his 'extended' christmas hols. Pot Kettle black comes to mind.

Fellow nosey Parker here and I wondered the same. A quick search doesn't throw anything up about any issues though. Might be another TWS mystery along with the whereabouts of Lowris twins!

Matthew has a duty to not be an annoying git. Let the guy speak.

Back to arguing with callers, interrupting before they've got to the end of a single sentence because they dare to side with Cameron. I wonder even if he watched his own shows back would he see how ****ed up his attitude is to the people he pretends to want to hear from....only as long as they agree with him of course. A pretty disgraceful performance but one we've come to expect whenever The Primrose Hill Class Warrior gets on his soapbox.

Downing a few poncey goji berries at age 50 isn't going to repair the damage you've wrought on your feeble sickly carcass Matthew. You need a whole body transplant but perhaps they could start just by replacing your uncontrollable jazz hands!

Ah Batmanbullshit merchant again. Anyone locked her up yet and thrown away the key with Yentob in the next cell.

BBC1 show about Kids Co. this week (Wednesday?). Unlike the last one on the same channel this one won't be made by Yentob as part of his indulgent Imagine strand singing their praises by way of praising his own involvement which was a sickening display of self-serving back-slapping we've come to expect from Auntie Beeb and its favoured sons.

Explains why brookie was always so miserable. Eastenders has well and truly taken over that crown.

Still will not let go on the cameron sending his kid to private school, just had to get the hypocrite jibe in. Nice...

Wrighty's "comedy" gruff feminist impression betrays his true feelings it seems vs his Wright-On credentials whenever he castigates a caller for daring to even offer up a hint of sexism. Hypocrisy, thy name is Matthew Wright.

Phil Redmond, multi millionaire and man of standing, self confessed owner of a mansion, made a fool of himself when referring to the Prime Minister as a "Posh Toff".

Imagine carrying bitterness into old age because your parents weren't wealthy enough to send you the "right school." Surely he realises that his very upbringing has made him his fortune. He could hardly have created such as Grange Hill had he attended Eton.
If he has children, I do hope he leaves them nothing in his Will or they too might be considered privileged.

Phil Redmond might be missing a trick actually. Maybe he should take over the show, rename it "Matthew Wright's Labour Broadcast" and turn it into a soap opera.

In my personal opinion, I feel Matthew Wright has such a huge chip on his shoulder, that he is unable to ascertain the difference of being hypocritical and sincerity. At times MW gives off an attitude, that he could be quite nasty if provoked.

You didn't catch him on IACGMOOH then? He was petty, vindictive and downright nasty on there to Amy Willerton for no other reason than she was easy fodder for him. That's the real MW imo.
