I have stopped watching as it is painful watching Matthew slip into some kind of mid life crisis, you are right Creamtea, it is like an Alan Partridge show now, he is a parody of himself and it is unwatchable. He is the rudest man on tv.

Was quite funny today. It was the first time I've seen Matthew Wight squirm when a caller put him in his place.
The topic was about stereotypes. The caller said to him 'well you stereotype about white working class British people. When ever you say people are racist you put on a British working class accent'.
You could see he was actually stumped as to what to say as he does do it all the time. He soon cut that caller off.
Yes, I have seen him do that. You mean like a mock working class person?

Obviously he must be doing an impression of one of his 'friends', who he goes down the pub with and talks about lads stuff such as football and birds.

If you're really working class then why would you do an impression of what you think a working class person might be like?

Has anyone uploaded a clip to Youtube of that caller who put a mirror up to him?
As I'd love to see it.

"Sexist to drool over TV hunks?" asks @5WrightStuff, yet it's sexist that they can show Aidan Turner topless at daytime, but not ANY WOMAN EVER!
So, any thoughts on this vital issue he discussed yesterday? Why do women get to see men's nipples in the paper and on TV at all times of day but not vice versa?

I've just been watching I'm Alan Partridge on DVD and was amazed at the similarities between him and Matthew!
I think Tim Lovejoy is more like Alan Partridge.

Lovejoy is in love with himself.

Matty boy is under the illusion that the whole country is on Twitter. Deluded idiot.

It's not even his name.
IIRC it's his middle name, first name Alexander (?).

If you're already paying 99p for Kindle editions, how bloody cheap do you want ebooks to be?!?! No consideration there for the physical book, already struggling against dirt cheap ebooks. Blind to the obvious end-game - The death of the paper and ink book.

...

Big surprise - Solomon doesn't mind a stupid man as a potential partner. They could help each other read Ladybird books.

Ah yes the greg wise programme about tax where Mr Emma Thompson came across as a right smug prat preaching to us and then having cosy chats with Labour Party Apparatjik's criticising what was going on. He loves himself as well.

How comes the Wright Stuff keep using regular panellists as a special guest?

So, Solomon's kids don't get access to computers then? As if the poor sods aren't disadvantaged enough already.

Why shouldn't the armed forces pay for wi-fi? Should I be paying to subsidise a squaddies midnight wank?

Dimbo says she eats an apple a day? Through a chain-link fence with those gnashers!

...

So, according to Wrighty, knowing your partners mobile number makes you an "intellectual". Even Wrighty's issues have issues!

I used to have this on a series link (for quite a few years) but it got more and more uncomfortable watching him lose it with callers, and the panel began to consist of 4th rate TOWIE-types, so I gave up.

The only time I catch the show now is if I'm working from home or have a day off. I was on holiday last week and saw a bit of it and he really has got worse (especially noticeable after someone like Richard Madeley, calm, professional and measured, has hosted).

How the callers manager to hold their tongue when he goes off on one and talks over them, I don't know - I couldn't!

I now listen to Nicky Campbell on 5 Live. He could give Wright a lesson on how a debate show should be done.

I've posted on here before that I was blocked by The Wright Stuff on Twitter - but not before a reply telling me not to bother watching - when I posted that Matthew Wright still wasn't letting callers get a word in edgeways. The fella's an arse, can't believe I used to like him and would make a point of watching shows he was on (Celebrity Masterchef etc).

Wonder what the viewing figures are like, I'd be surprised if they hadn't fallen.

Solomon a writer, i suppose if Jordan can do it.. 'Walk on by' the sequel should be 'Run, run for the hills'
