I think it was Simon contradicting Wrighty about tax IIRC. Memory's shot to bits so I could be wrong.

He gave it up a long time ago, when he finally realised, what we had known for ages. It just isn't funny.
His excuse for doing it yesterday was that Sadistic Simon promised to donate money to charity if he did.

Don't forget tins of blue paint, currently on sale at B&Q - £10 for 10 litres! (probably. I don't know. I've made that up. Is that even a good price?)
Matthew really derailed the first caller. Couldn't wait to find any reason to interupt.
He moans when people waste time humming and harring, but then is snide to someone who has thought about what he wants to say and got right on with saying it.
No need to muddy the conversation by bringing in the potential knock-on effect that running might have for the NHS and seem to indicate that people could pay less towards the NHS.
Surprised he didn't mention expensive cancer drugs. That seems to be one of his go to arguments.
Isn't it a little counter-productive to plug a show several times now as "all about Isis and jihadi-brides"? Fundamentalist nutters don't need much of an excuse to attack assembled groups in theatres do they?
Shazia is so annyoying, she is obsessed with "poor people". To say that only rich kids play piano is utter rubbish, I grew up on a council estate and was one of the "poor people" she talks about and I had piano lessons. She is unbelievably patronising.
