I bet the toilet would be a colourful place after that diet. Louise loves it though.

It was weird that we had not one but two of the panelists advocating the use of homeopathy, with not even a bit of argument. Louise did at least admit it "might" be "partly" a placebo effect. Seriously?
![]() Also I noticed MW has a family friend this time who fits the topic perfectly. He doesn't even cringe at the never ending convenient friends. He seems to be hiding it but on the verge of a tantrum. Snapping at the auto-cue out of nowhere. It must be very tiring working with him. |

"Let's ask the weirdos in the audience about diets, most of whom are pensioners and clearly could care less".

Sweet FA to do with global warming. Keep building on flood plains and below lying rivers this will always happen. Its been happening for years. Is it a coincidence that there is a big climate jamboree going on in paris at the same time that there is all this scare mongering on climate.
Common sense goes out the window. ![]()

After Tyson got both barrels yesterday today its the daily mails turn. Maybe tomorrow he could have a go at the rag known as the guardian (pigs will fly) just for a bit of balance. Oberleutnant wright will sort you out quick sharp if you don't agree.

Why would Trump be coming here in the next year? As long as his polling continues to hold up he has his hands full being a real-life troll in the States. Discuss what he said as a TP but let's not allow the government to chuck another distraction into the public arena so our focus is taken away from all the nastiness and ****-ups they're responsible for on a daily basis.

Nothing ever changes on this show. Trump topic... 1st caller is on MW's wavelength and is treated with relative respect and not even interrupted much. 2nd caller is not and cannot get more than a few words out, MW's eyes bulge, and then he disputes whether the caller is a racist. It's so pathetic how he doesn't want to listen to anything expect what he already thinks.
The annoying thing also is that I want to hear what kind of rationale might be used to justify Trump's comments. I vehemently disagree with them but I want to know how others are thinking too. So I wanted to know how the guy took the comments and why, to give some indication of the types of thinking that are out there. This is what a discussion show is for. This show is increasingly like a parody. |

He interrupts everyone constantly. He asks Furst a question on the Trump TP and before Steve has got a sentence out MW is barging in to reassert his POV as if coercing him to agreeing with him. As we've said before - A weird little man.

Today's guest has a voice that would cut through concrete, what an uncomfortable pitch it has,
I like Steve Furst, he's why I'm continuing to watch today. |

Common sense is not something I associate with your posts. Why follow the evidence when you can can make a judgement based upon your own wishes and political dogma?
The scientific facts are: NO global warming for almost 19 years, Antarctic ice is increasing, the weak short-term correlation between carbon dioxide and temperature increase proves nothing about causation. Climate science is NOT settled, yet saying that labels one a denier/heretic bordering on criminal. The fact that the Met has started giving names like Desmond to common weather events is not only infantile but smacks of conditioning/social engineering. Anthropomorphise a weather event and it becomes an entity which is actively attacking us, creating the perception that we need to defend or 'fight back' in some way (such as cutting carbon emissions). Naming it also gives the impression that it must be a worse storm since we had never named them before. So any storm with a name will be perceived as 'worse'. |

'Political dogma' works both ways. We had a storm, which caused flooding in flood plains, unsurprisingly. Cut-backs in flood defences and increasingly laying tarmac over large open spaces are easily dismissed when invoking the Climate Change mantra. Even the Met Office has joined in this quasi-religion.

)Overall sea ice is decreasing but note the word "global". As with other indicators some will increase in some parts of the world and decrease in others it's the overall that counts. The reason the term "denier is used is because they like to term themselves "sceptics" but they are anything but sceptical, they jump on any cherry picked piece of "evidence" from any source that appears to support their cause. |

We have had global warming in the past 19 years even allowing for the cherry picking of 1997 as the start date. (Wonder why the deniers pick that year to start from?
)I put my belief in empirical scientific evidence, not wildly inaccurate computer models. And the empirical evidence suggests you are wrong: http://wattsupwiththat.com/2015/12/0...ears-9-months/ btw this website gathers its evidence from valid sources and raw data, not predictions and dogma. It is not a loony 'denier' site like Skeptical Science. |
