Yes, that's the one I'm thinking of which I referred to in the last post on the previous page.

Call me cynical but maybe the only reason the US is taking it is to promote Trousersnakes new song.

I hate Dick I love Kev he's lovely- why can't he sit for Wrighty - ..and what happened to poor Anne Diamond, I suppose she got shunted off cos Madeley wanted to do it- they shouldn't let him back over the Tamar bridge

Richard is welcome back any time as far as I'm concerned.
I'm looking forward to a whole week of him, what a treat.

He may be more popular on here but judging by the lack of comments today, when it comes to having a right good moan, we prefer Matthew.

Why does Richard look like he was at a funeral yesterday, got totally p****ed at the wake, woke up in the same clothes and rushed down to the studio without shaving or combing his hair?

He ought to make the effort and go to a barbers a couple of times a week as he looks slightly unwell under the studio lights.

I had it on while managing an early morning work crisis so I wasn't giving it my full attention but as usual it seemed like there was nothing discussed that couldn't be somehow linked back to him, Judy, their kids and their TV shows. Kevin Bacon has nothing on Madeley - I reckon he could tenuously link himself and/or Judy to the life of an African tribal chief who died two hundred years ago. Every topic is just an excuse to trot out another tedious ****ing anecdote.

One caller today was an older woman who was having issues with her neighbours. She was uncomfortable about confronting them and not sure what to do. Good old Dickie offered to call them for her. Not just someone on the team but him personally. You've got to love the crazy cat. She declined but still a great moment.

I only watched the last bit today and it's true there will be less comments but for me the show is much better with the anecdote king. There is simply less to get annoyed about.

Yes, although Richard always comes across to me that he's just been smoking some crack, he is very professional and sincere and (surprisingly perhaps) intelligent.

That's a Dick length, that's not nearly long enough.

Yes, it's a much more relaxing watch. Richard obviously has his own opinions on the stories and shares them, but he also lets everyone else share theirs and doesn't cut off callers who don't agree with him. I don't even mind his never-ending supply of anecdotes - it's no worse than Matthew and his 'friend' for every occasion. (I also thought it was quite sweet of him to offer to call that lady's neighbour - even though it was probably for the best that she declined ).

Twice weekly trips to the barbers aside
Richard always looks smart in his suits, and he wears cuff links gotta love him.

He seems to be the regular stand in for Matthew now, so thank goodness for that.
Remember the awful Donal Macintire standing in? and even worse the dayglo idiot.

I should have said only have a shave at the barbers. Richards hair looks fine to me even if hes got 2 or 3 colours in it at this current time. Great thing with someone else shaving you is you have half an hour of me time to relax and prepare for the day ahead. Only problem is there anyone fit and awake to do the job early in the day in Thatlondon.

Consecutive "special" guests plugging their C5 shows. Add to Kev's unstinting praise for their shows on Friday and this programme is becoming purely a self-promotion vehicle for Five.

Amusingly Dick thinks of himself as a "journalist". When was the last time you did anything that could realistically be called "journalism" Dick?
