Poor old Dickie doesn't have much luck with blokes walking on cliffs in Cornwall does he?

God, it's good to have him back!

Don't put ideas in my head.

Oh heck that man- I love the casual stubble look- as in "I'm so darned successful you're lucky to have me and I'll dress/present myself how I like because I'm so cool'

The open neck shirt thing works with Kev but not with him for some reason.

I lost count of the dickedotes with news that he had shingles once. Might've been double figures by that point...

The stubble works wonderfully with the rumpled crotch though don't you think?

Lucking forward to some juicy dickedotes later, Staker has really whet my appetite.

Its been a relaxing week with Dickie and his anecdotes (long may they continue). My liver has had a rest too. Its back to the trenches next week with Wrighty, at least we have Kev to look forward to today.

Between the dickedotes and "Ask the Audience" there's bugger all time for much else. Screechy yet again falling down on the job - Remind the fool it's a call-in show!

As someone who has watched this show fitfully over the years and who is only able to watch it regularly now because of shift work (boo!), I have to say the biggest single change has been the pathetic amount of time given to the opinions of actual members of the public (the assorted weirdos and goons in the studio audience don't count). So much time is given over to the 'celebrity' guests, whether plugging their latest product or being allowed to self-indulgently waffle on by the host and/or production team. It's outrageous!

Seeing as many of the daily guests now have a C5 connection (Home & Away, Neighbours, Suspects, Under Cover: The Big Sting etc) and the telly review always features an uncritical rave for some hideous chavvy crap on Five as well, the shift towards plugging vehicle and away from callers (perhaps explains Wright's utter contempt for most of them these days) is all too obvious.

That's the other main change, Matthew Wright himself. I'm by no means an MW hater, I think he's an engaging and interesting broadcaster, when he's on his game, but he's way way off his game these days - from what I've seen over the past few weeks. He just seems bored with the whole format these days - and when you're bored, you become tetchy and irritable and are inclined to lash out. He should go and do something else.

Think the show's budget has been increased this year, or will be at some stage.

They are planning to do some sort of UK tour at some point, which is an interesting idea.

Dick listens to Lemar in the car...Lecar? That's his sales ****ed then.
People still buy Lemar songs?

No mortar board throwing when I graduated either, Hal.
Me neither, and that was in 1993. But if I remember rightly, as well as having to get a photo taken later and the day being extremely hot, the gown, mortar board et al was hired so had to be returned in a suitable condition

Ah Dawny is back Matthews BFF from Brent. Thought he was going to move there. Wonder if she is enjoying her whirlpool bath?

I've always liked Miriam Stoppard.
Can't remember the last time I saw her on tv.

I don't know much about that Holly Brockwell story, but I really can't see why she was sterilised on the NHS.

Eat more good fats, completely agree.

It won't be surgically enhanced and covered in a half-inch of slap.

I'm sure you won't need to be enhanced

Has Miriam Stoppard's tongue secured its own contract, based on appearances?

It's popping out every few seconds!
