They're doing it for the people
For the people eh? Tis a shame there's now no time for an Evita themed dance, Gleb would make a good Che Guevara.

Always the show-dance I suppose.

Oh dear, I think I'm unappreciating the new Gleb special before I've even seen it.

"The Death Spin"?

My missus wants bantams. What makes matters worse is there is actually a place not that far from us where you can buy them. She refuses to acknowledge that we haven't the space and anyway the cat would probably eat them
If you live within clucking distance of Wakefield, we need someone to look after our office chickens! We can throw in a couple of bee hives too!

They're doing it for the people
Last time I checked I was a person, and she needn't bother on my behalf!

Doing it for the people is just another buzz phrase used by people who are a bit crap, isn't it? The same as how they talk about how 'gorgeous' and 'lovely' a complete duffer like Carol is, as opposed to say, Helen or Georgia, who presumably are not only horrible but also complete mingers.

"The Death Spin"?
Presumably the 'drag the lady round in a circle by her arms and leave her on the floor' spin? It happens to all the female celebs eventually, it seems.

Hello, everyone, by the way! Hope it's ok to pop by at this late date.

And nothing in hold on his VW, just the faffing about stuff that he could have done in week one just as well.

Yep I'm not in the mood to be nice about him tonight, absolutely knackered, got a stinking headache, and the day from hell tomorrow to look forward to. So tired I'm feeling weepy.

Unappreciating that it took 55 minutes to get home rather than 15-20 and therefore I missed ITT, but it sounds like I didn't miss much.
Only Robin referring to That Person as Peeder. ..

Wotcha
Course it is.

Isn't the death spin the one where the lady lowers to the floor, sits on her behind and the chap walks round holding her hands, spinning her round on her bottom? Not sure there's much deathy about that though

Damn, I was hoping for the Dancing on Ice move where the lady gets grabbed by her ankles and whirled around until her head narrowly avoids contact with the ground.

Of course, they'd have to put up with getting a point knocked off for an illegal lift.......

You mean the floor mop?

I hate it because there is no elegant way to get up from it for the lady. The only time it look All right was when Aliona choreographed it in the paso as it was the end and she stayed in the floor. Still not my favourite part of that paso.

They will probably do that one for the salsa.

Or is it the wipe the floor thing Peter did at the end of his VW?? Always remember it since perfect time in dance and music to do some pivots and spun her around the floor like a dishcloth!!

I have this awful feeling it's going to be the reverse as in the dancing on ice thing they always did, hold the lady by her feet and fling her about.

I SO want it to be the headbanger!

Was going to ask if anyone had glimpsed a helmet in the training footage as evidence to confirm our suspicions, but realised that with a post in which Gleb features, I could be misconstrued.

There is also a death spiral. Which is where the female skater is held by her wrist, whirled around by the male skater and gradually by him bending as he turns, till she is almost horizontally parallel with the ice....like this...

Centrifugal force. Or momentum. Or summat like that

Best one I ever saw, the bloke skated off with the girl still down by the ice rather than pulling her straight up again.

By accident?

Aah, centrifugal force. That's what Anita and Gleb have been doing; not learning to dance but doing chemistry experiments.

No, it was part of the routine. Never seen it before or since. Fabulous.

Yup, G&A will henceforth be known as Bunsen and Beaker
