Kellie will have ballroom as well (AS, Vee Dub, or rhumba 😕 ) or AT?
Not the AT. Please please not the AT. TTF will wreck it. Kellie could never do it.

Anton didn't do it at all.

Enough already.

Big one is called Beauty and the Beast 😂😂😂

Sang by Angela Lansbury, the teapot, in the film

"Tale as old as time true as it can be..."

Sang by Celine Dion

Vomit central, so twee & saccharine
Could use Something There. My fave's Be Our Guest though, absolutely love Jerry Orbach.

And me feet are killing me in these shoes 😥
*diverts everyone's attention*

I'll be over here. Don't mind me - keep conga-ing.
You girls can have a rest, pours 3 large glasses of bubbles, I'll lead the Conga for a bit, I did manage an impromptu afternoon nap after all

I thought Kellie was lucky in the dance off as it was one big mess especially the lifts. The agenda was to get rid of Peter so she survived.
Is she reaching the end of her time?
Yep. I think so. That salsa Sambatchatawreck was dire! She is also exhausted.

What AT were you referring to earlier? Who did an AT today?

Or did you mean Anton's 'attempt'?

I was surprised that the judges (can't remember exactly who now) said that Kellie had improved in the DO as it looked worse than the first time to me. Seems a bit pointless to me to give reasons if they can't be justified, the lifts were terrible!

Do you think Smude might have been referring to the tango-ee bits in Gleb and Nat's dance, although I didn't notice any AT steps. I'm no expert though

I thought Nat and Gleb did one. On reflection I was only looking at Nat. Maybe I am easily pleased.

Gleb and Nat = awesome.
Does anyone have a link to their dance, I can't get I player where I am at the moment. I don't like El Divo so was in the kitchen until they stopped singing.

But the whole of this weekend has been subtitled: it all subjective and a matter of opion - which is a catch all for we'll carry on doing what we like anyway

If you are then so am I! I liked it too, but I love Nat dancing anything.

It did rather show up Gleb though, Natalie is a far superior dancer

No, it was a cha cha rhythm, but they mixed up mambo and rumba and added some other moves, which were tango-like, but not AT.

I reckon Nat could pick up AT, but Gleb not so much

It's not available yet. I recorded the show with Sky + so was able to watch it back. I liked that they added mambo steps to the routine. The track is a cha cha beat.

Gleb is a Latin specialist which is probably why it's a mixture of Latin dances, but no AT.

Thanks for the clarification Sofakat.

I found myself just watching Nat, she was the performance as far as I was concerned.

Someone mentioned "Memory" on the Musicals Week dances thread. That could also work for a VW if Kellie is for the flush. Automatic comparisons with Alesha's virtually matchless one and dress K&K as cats.

Oh dear God, NO!. I love musical theatre (I drove four hours each way to see "Mack and Mabel this summer fgs) but I absolutely hate everything about "Cats" They were the most miserable hours I've ever spent in a theatre. and I had to see "Mousetrap" twice for two different friend's birthdays.
Not PA and 'Memory' in the same series. I'm already menopausal, don't make me suicidal too

Don't tell sofs, but I never really got the HJ love, but following links from Seven Brides clips I found rehearsal (I think) footage of him tap-dancing, and then I found this https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=KNEUtN21cuU
A man who can act *and* dance *and* sing *and* is easy on the eye? Yum!
HJ is a true triple threat. This is my fave of his, Sunset Boulevard.

No probs.

Yep, I am the same with Nat. She is an absolute joy to watch and so much fun. Bloody good teacher too. Huge respect for her.

He is a brilliant all rounder - and a great man too. Funny, dry, witty and a devoted father. What's not to like?

Hahahaaaaa!

I loathe and detest 'Memory'. Ugh. I have been forced to sit through Cats 5 times and the bloody roller skating one 3 times to keep visiting US clients happy, and I loathe both with a passion. I did manage Les Mis once.

Give me Chicago, Sweet Charity, Cabaret instead. Anything with Fosse frankly.

Brilliant! Might just stop typing Gleb now, we can use instead!

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=YLcVhPrZFPI Can he dance with the same level of charm with an axe though?
Just watched that and then went to Barn Raising. Good job PP's out. If the producers had been lurking here and he was still in, they'd have given him that. High knees abound in it, and our loving memories would be destroyed.

Looks like I'm at thorn branch flogging time again cos I love Cats Seen it loads, have the DVD, soundtrack, danced to Macavity and danced as Mungojerrie (we had a lack of male dancers!), although I really dislike Memory as performed by Elaine Paige.

Never seen Cats on stage, but have performed as Mr Mistoffolees for a local theatre group.

Has anyone ever danced to One Night in Bangkok? Could be interesting!

And? Some of us didn't, me included.

But then the only pro dance I have liked this series is Giovanni and Joanne, that was brilliant.
