I can't wait to see what Aliona comes up with for a Jay showdance if they are through. Something soft and lyrical I presume, if we are getting the jive (face) and possibly the QS (judges re-do).

I first saw it when I was watching him in the line up to match with his partner. And now that I've noticed it, I see it more and more and I can't stop seeing it. It's odd. Make it stop!

So did I, I'm a sucker for a bit of old style Hollywood glamour whether it's performed perfectly or not and she did bloody well with it.

Seriously, every time someone moans about something "yeah, but JAYWOZROBBED" forever! Until eternity, even if I never watch another series of Strictly! I'm not letting it go, you can sing Frozen at me repeatedly until my ears bleed, but I will haunt you all, except nearly all of you will be joining you, so we'll have to haunt Countryfile and the proms dressed as Doctor Who

I honestly don't think I could cope.
We lost Helen so Gleb could do the Peter Andre beating heart extraction move on Anita - just a bit ... lower down her body.
If we lost Jay to it as well, I'll be building a fort under the table with the whiskey crate and refusing to come out.

The bit where he had a pause when she was upside down as if to get a better look at her knickers? The whole thing was awful.

I think it's likely that the judges pick will be one of the earliest dances. So week one dances for all of them were cha cha for Anita and Jay, tango for Kellie, jive for Katie and Georgia. Week two dances were waltz for Georgia and Jay, cha cha for Kellie, tango for Katie and Charleston for Anita.

Of these, I could see tango for Katie and Kellie, Charleston or cha cha for Anita, and probably waltz for Jay. I'm not the biggest fan of seeing these dances repeated unless they get to rework them quite considerably.

For me, I would prefer something like:
Georgia - Charleston and tango
Katie - VW and rumba
Kellie - QS and jive? Samba?
Anita - tango and paso (well, would prefer her Charleston)
Jay - tango and jive

To be honest, I struggled to pick out Georgia's and Kellie's. I'm dubious of Georgia's tango, because I don't want a repeat of the Hallowe'en makeup, but I've genuinely found many of hers unmemorable. Kellie's Latin was difficult to pick out too - the jive had its problems (plus likely up against that jive, the samba I didn't like.

She has great abs but somehow pooches out her tummy. In her samba, she held it in tight, and then sorta let it go and hey presto, bump. I'm sure there have been others with slightly problematic bodies (for wardrobe) but somehow they really, really can't dress Kellie. At no point is it all right. Her best was probably her jive, but then that was more like a Charleston outfit.

I am not appreciating this sore throat that is developing at a rate of knots.

On the plus side, at least I don't have to perform a cha cha and a VW tomorrow.

Best to be prepared though ay? 😜 Just in case 😉

A Kermit and Miss Piggy rumba was narrowly avoided this week, methinks... Though it would have had to have ended on a karate chop and a shriek of Hay-ah that might have altered the mood somewhat...

If they're through, hopefully Aliona won't let Jay have any input, because if he does it'll involve them being painted blue and have an Avatar theme, he's flipping obsessed with the film
