I cannot understand why Anita and Gleb chose that salsa

Well, the judges hated both, it's pretty hard for her to pick either because they know every other couple has a dance that will likely beat them.

Now, if the foxtrot had been played straighter, maybe they'd have a chance against Katie (and that's from the point of view of them not knowing whether it was Katie or Georgia against them).

Still lots of gapping for Katie, and a stumble....

But then- there was the 'salsa'

Hubby just said 'this looks like a bloody exercise video, not a dance'

Loads of dry ice to hide Katie's feet.
To be fair, the judges wore blindfolds for Anita's dance

Have to say I felt for Anita - her 'loving her new socks' was as good as a 'duh' to Tess...

Yes, I agree, but I think what steps she did she did them very well. Unlike Anita, most of the time.

Also, smoke and mirrors old style in an AS is more palatable than in other dances.

Me neither. Both dances were fairly terrible, but the 'salsa' was easily the worst.
I might start a conspiracy thread about how Anita was made to re-do the Salsa to make sure Dame Anton got to the final.
