I know it's wrong but quite a lot of me would rather have seen a Gleb showdance featuring a smorgasbord of floor bothering, gusset-worrying and tea-bagging than an Anton ballroom borefest.

I'm with you on that one. At least it would have got us all talking.

I said yesterday that Katie has had 2 or 3 ballroom routines that should have wowed but didn't. A showdance will be the same.

Yes, but just imagine how even more fabulous it would have been if Gleb hadn't been constrained by having to incorporate so many traditional Salsa steps into the routine, and he could really give it some proper showdancing welly.

Batshit crazy enough to make Aliona's wackiest ideas look sedate and pedestrian.

I wonder if Gleb suspected they might be going this week and thought sod it, I'll do a showdance salsa with a bit of hip hop thrown in.

I began to unappreciate his choreography as time went on but their dances were never boring or forgettable.
