I liked J&A's Charleston, although I think he could have relaxed into it a bit more, considering Georgia's been ill all week she did a really good job with the VW and K&K's AS was lovely up to the side-by-side section, after that I thought it got a bit "Seaside Special" rather than "Fred & Ginger".

Poor Anita , Gleb obviously found her far too 'fragrant'.

I just forced myself to watch Anita's dances in order over on youtube. I'm now thinking she got worse as she went along not better!!

Gleb got more desperate she got worse, or she got worse and Gleb got more desperate.

It wasn't pleasant!! About 30 seconds into each dance I had to physically stop myself from moving on to the next and watch it all the way to the end. Did it really cos I can't remember any of her dances before the paso.

All I can remember is her feet and energy in week one. Horns for Halloween and giant red tablecloths for Blackpool.

I remember a lot more of Anita's dances than I do Kellie's, Katie's or Georgia's... Might not be for the right reasons every time- but at least they made me sit up and take notice.

Only if its written in his contract that he must do a proper routine that follows the rules of the dance.

He can faff about all he wants in show salsamchahip for the rest of the series if he must, but for one dance, I want a proper waltz or jive etc. If he can teach the celeb to point her feet properly, so much the better.

I really think its the latter although I accept I'm in the minority!

The hysteria around Anita's exit is both scary and hilarious... I mean do people actually understand this whole dancing business? I'm shocked how many people think she should be a finalist because her lifts and tricks and Gleb's weird 'specials' are more entertaining than Katie's ballroom dances. May as well just scrap the whole dancing bit and just chuck celebrities around for a few hours eh? Fair enough if that entertains you, but don't call it dancing and certainly don't call it a 'salsa' or 'argentine tango'.

I think she didn't improve much - she started well above the average but was overtaken by the end. Shame really.

I was chatting to a friend today at her 90th birthday party. She was a professional dancer and still teaches!! She is amazing. She said this was the first year she hadn't watched strictly religiously cos she can't tell what dance is being danced in so many of the dances. Says it all really!!
