![]() ![]() ? Though seriously I am not sure the lack of Pixie made such a difference as the lack of Helen or am I fangirling and really Helens loss is not that felt? I meant by the show not me obviously. I will mourn FOREVEAH. You know I honestly can say I don't think I have ever been so bothered except for Austin by the loss of anyone. |

I will mourn FOREVEAH. You know I honestly can say I don't think I have ever been so bothered except for Austin by the loss of anyone. Partly for that reason, I preferred this year's semis to last year - IMO last year was a mix of mediocrity and utter cack, saved only by Caroline doing VERY well (she got a 40 didn't she? That was probably a bit much, but probably more an expression of relief that she wasn't crap). |

I really liked Helen as well as feeling she had more to give in terms of dance.

Don't get me wrong I loved Pixie, especially with Trent who I would far rather he had stayed than Gleb, but I just didn't miss her so much.
Is it the fate of the posh bird to always get so far and no further. Sophie coming 4th was a shock for me. Where is Monkseal and his spreadsheets? Do posh birds have a wuz robbed inherent storyline ? |

With Pixie I honestly thought Simon danced better, so the outrage bypassed me completely I'm afraid

I'm thinking Katie's is more of a poshbirdwuzlucky storyline for many...
But yes Katie is being dragged to the final , bizarrely enough I sort of don't mind. ![]() I can even live with an Anton win

She may become posh in time and her children probably will be posh, but at the moment she is not posh ![]() Coughs ahem Luka British , no English blood in me and actually a fair bit of foreign dna with the grandparents situation And Monkseal thanks for answering the bat signal |

I can't appreciate the was robbed idea but that probably because the only ones I really deeply missed leaving were John Sargent and Jade and nobody robbed them.
I've thought some decisions were unfair (the gurner winning) - but then again I don't expect fairness. |

Gaby Logan being on ITT reminds me that Anita is not the first celeb I love off the show and can't take to on it. I really enjoyed seeing Gaby on ITT and I think she's a brilliant, assured presenter, but I really could not take to her on Strictly.

Denise Lewis. I see her presenting things now, and she's lovely. I re-watch some of her old dances and they were great. But I just couldn't take to her on the show. And Wardrobe seemed to hate her; everything was neon and hideous.
I didn't like Christine Bleakley or Alex Jones on the show but then I'm not that keen in them off it

I thought losing Pixie was even worse than Helen, but that's just an opinion... it helps that I marginally prefer Jay over Helen whereas Pixie was my absolute fave.
Jay was my clear favourite this year, but Helen was second. I will definitely miss her from the final this year. |

I grew to really like Pixie last year, mostly because Trent's choreography was great. (See Gleb, that's how you do modern, innovative choreography.) Yes, she deserved to go in that dance off, but the final would have been much better if she had been in it rather than Mark.
Jay was my clear favourite this year, but Helen was second. I will definitely miss her from the final this year. I'd have much rather lost Simon (who I found rather smug and seriously overrated) than Pixie, and then to cap it off Jake Wood went out as well, so I was left voting like mad for my 3rd favourite last year! That's why this year feels better for me, even though Helen was blatantly VERY robbed! ![]() PS. Yes I am still bitter about Pixie a year on - although seeing her dance live and meeting her did help a bit!

Unappreciating Anita on Twitter retweeting people making out she was robbed and tweeting herself about how the people had her back.
Had to resist pointing out that not enough of them had her back to keep her out of the dance off. Best case she finished 3rd in the public vote... Seriously - I like her as a presenter but this whole "never danced before" thing has her taking herself far too seriously as the patron saint of the untrained dancer and it's really irritating |
