I saw her on something recently - CiN I think - and couldn't believe it was the same woman. Not sure where her personality went last year
or whether it got sucked into a vortex of Grimsby.i think you'd pobablu just retreat into yourself muttering "please no more...." |

She was also, unbeknownst to her, in the early stages of pregnancy for the second half of the series. I don't know much bout yoos ladies and your hormones and stuff but maybe that had an effect.

![]() I was completely exhausted in the early weeks of my pregnancies. There is no way I could have contemplated learning a dance. All I wanted to do was go to bed early with a banana and salt and vinegar crisp sandwich. |

Denise Lewis. I see her presenting things now, and she's lovely. I re-watch some of her old dances and they were great. But I just couldn't take to her on the show. And Wardrobe seemed to hate her; everything was neon and hideous.

I'd say the same about Kellie, nearly all my feelings about her are wrapped up in my frustration with and dislike of him. I love her when she's away from him, when she's interviewed on her own on ITT, I think she's brilliant.
I'd have loved her if she'd have been with Tristan and he'd have looked at her like she was mental if she'd tried the shrieking with him. He'd have calmed down her manicness.Quote:
Up until Jay, Denise was my all time favourite ever SCD contestant

Away from him I have no problem with her at all, in fact I rather like her, it just a toxic mixture for me.
Denise made me fall in love with Strictly, and I still hate the fact their brilliant QS got completely overshadowed by St Jill of Jive ![]()

I could never work out how someone had spent the summer battling through injury and trying to keep hold of her Olympic title could be castigated for being too competitive

Denise is my biggest ever wuzrobbed celebrity of all time. She should have won because, unlike St Jill of the Jive, Denise didn't come from a performing background.
That's not to say I didn't like Jill & Darren's partnership, I did, and I liked some of their routines, but for me Denise & Ian were just a sublime pairing which oozed class when needed and sex appeal when needed. |

Oh I loved Denise.
I think I loved Jill too but I'm sure I liked Denise more. I always support the athletes. Even Roger Black and Iwan (until 10 secs into his first dance) |

I know, I thought she was a wonderful dancer (won't talk about her jive) and her partnership with Ian was great, and I have ongoing envy of her beautiful skin - her ballroom was generally way better then Jill's for me as well
![]() You can keep Naomi Campbell who just wears good wigs or Kate Moss who always looks a bit grubby, I think Denise Lewis is one of the most beautiful women on the planet. In my head, Denise Lewis and Michael Johnson go home and play house and make beautiful babies who will run exceedingly fast. (Apologies to Michael's wife and Denise's hubby) |

Unappreciating walking into my local newsagents and seeing Mr Self-promotion and Dr Em on the cover of OK magazine. Doesn't he ever STOP? Before Strictly, I had no opinion about him one way or the other, but now, I loathe the sight of him. And we have his appearance in the final to look forward to, too. <insert roll eyes smiley>

Ah, Michael Johnson, a dream contestant for me, even if by the brief glance at his dancing during the World Champs, ummm, he won't be good - but all he'd have to do is come out and speak and I'd vote my hand off for him *sigh*

...I sincerely hope this isn't indicative of anything final dances-wise...
