Just gone searching for that article. Apparently the arena holds 20,000, but he's closed 2/3 of it off for his gig.

And has sold 2,700 tickets apparently....

Why on earth book such a large venue in the first place? Surely it would be better to play smaller theatres and have them full?
I really don't understand, unless it was to have the kudos of playing the O2 on his CV Did he think that his appearance on Strictly would lead to them selling more tickets and they could make 'by popular demand' announcement about more tickets being released

The costs are going to be huge, it must be loosing him money

My cousin who is a year younger than me, 26, fancies Anton.

*shudders*
Someone I was at school with fancied Cliff Richard.

She also fancied the Maths teacher - a small man with permanent underarm sweat patches - and used to get uncontrollably (she claimed) shuddery in Maths lessons.

Perhaps she's now a Beke-ette

I thought the Anton fanciers were mythical characters from legend like unicorns as I've never seen or heard of any before who've ever uttered the words 'That Anton, he's a bit of all right!' or 'I fancy Anton'

I'm sure he's an absolutely lovely and friendly man - he just has the sex appeal of a door frame.

Sorry Anton fanciers.

He probably wishes he'd done the tour afterall, but as you say, it's probably bragging rights. I have no idea how popular the Wanted were but I suspect Jay and bandmates played to a lot more people.

Ouch. £36 quid a ticket. I've just looked out of curiosity.

15 seconds and my gag reflex engaged

That is so many shades of wrong, I don't ever want to see him straddle a chair again

I don't like what Fiona is doing in this 'dance' either. Unsavoury all round.

I absolutely think his ego thought he'd be all conquering. I think he fully expected to stroll off with the glitterball whilst getting a number 1 album and a sold out tour.

I bet he's sat at home eating his sandwiches made by Em, wondering where it all went wrong.

Strictly was utterly the wrong profile for him

I think he expected to be able to put in the bare minimum of effort, top the leaderboard every week and sail through on a tide of congratulations and good will.

In non-CAN run country what's happened is my mate, a fan for 20 or so years, now shudders at the mention of his name and yells shuddupshuddulsuddupshuddup when someone 😇 reminds her. Repeatedly. Just for fun

The what now Funnily enough it came on the radio on the way home, and I was thinking it was a wee bit depressing for a show dance - really don't get this pick for them at all

I want to be but just so nervous. Surely Kellie can't sneak it at the last moment.

I'm just dying to see his show dance - I predict it'll be phenomenal.

TBH - I couldn't give a monkey's who wins (although I'd love it to be Jay or Kellie - even Katie/Anton) - just not Georgia.

IT starts off very slowly but then about 2/3 of the way through the guitars & drums kick in, so I assume that was the section we saw

Kellie's is going to be really full on but loads of people are going to love that.

I actually think Georgias could be really beautiful.

Katie and Anton, as expected.

Really not feeling Jays show dance prospects.

Not if this board is any reflection of the GBP, she's the one the whole board has forgotten about.

She's also not popular on YouTube, no-one comparatively watches her dances back.

To take your mind off it, I was reading an article earlier today saying that the Andre is really struggling to shift tickets for his O2 gig.

I honestly think he's hindered his career, not helped it, by doing Strictly.
He's on ITT tomorrow, perhaps to plug it
Sorry, I hadn't read before I posted, must still be nauseous

I think the whole new viewer watching for the first time and voting is a bit of a myth. Think battle lines are pretty much drawn, but guess it's about who has the fanatical voters. 10 people using their 3 free votes on Kellie isn't going to have much effect on a Jay or Georgia fan voting 124 times.

I'm remarkably zen.
We get to see it, which is fab and if he doesn't win ... well ... Years of wuzzrobbed beckon
