Anton bitter? No, I think he'll spend a lot of time before the show reassuring Katie and helping her with her stage fright. Don't forget she's a TV presenter who normally sits and looks elegant and has a script and notes in her hand. On the dance floor she has a heck of a lot more to think about, and just when she was getting used to it, up flows this Anita tsunami determined to drown her.

If the butterflies are sorted, Katie will dance well. Remember she got consistently good marks earlier in the series before the Semis except for 2 Latins - just 2. I think the Charleston got floppy because her diaphragm was tight and this interfered with her breathing. Anton said she was absolutely fine in rehearsal.

Hopefully in the Final they will just enjoy the show and dance, even for 4th place.
While I agree she suffers from stage fright and she has been very classy about it (not mentioned it much), Katie has the lowest average score of the finalists and of all the contestants that left after Blackpool (Peter Andre, Helen and Anita).
Katie (of all the dances) averages 28, and she got 20 for her CHa CHa CHa, and 21 for both her paso and salsa. So that is three latins.

They all look very different and good.

Kellies does look the most wow in a sort of manic, throwing the kitchen sink kind of way.

Katie's looks the most dramatic, tangoesque.

Georgias probably the most beautiful and sweet.

Jays looks cool and understated.

Coppertop is going to come in and slap you all again 🙄

We don't want good. We want crap, overblown, underwhelming, Gleb specials and Bacofoil. Ugh...good...meh!

I really should not watch Stephen King Films at this time of night. One of the cats jumped on my lap in the scariest bit and scared me half to death

Oh, yes, I forgot in which thread I was.

Part of me is really missing the chance to see Anita and Glebs show dance. But then I remember that they already gifted it to us last week.
And I do like Anita much more out of strictly, and can just lust over Gleb.

I am constantly forgetting what thread I'm posting in! I don't think I ever introduced myself here and offered refreshments - how about a magnum of Absinthe (in hope it'll make hearts grow fonder )

And I'd like to unappreciate the judges being harder on Katie than anyone else, now that I hear about her stage fright

I unappreciate this virus that has manifested itself causing me to be unwilling/unable to get happily plastered on my works night out and go careering onto various bars and instead I drank three glasses of wine, ate my meal sedately and am back home before half midnight like a grown up.

Bollocks.

I may be over forty but I am not, never have been and never will be a grown up except in extremis. Bloody chest infections.

Anyway. Strictly. I quite like all the finalists but that doesn't mean that if anyone but Jay wins I won't go into a huge strop. Seriously, I shall supersede series 3 level of pissed offness. This cannot happen. I cannot trade one scary level of wuzrobbed for an even scarier one. The show couldn't be so cruel. (It probably could...)

I will angrily unappreciate Strictly as a show if Kellie & Kevin win Strictly later tonight

It'll cure anything

Twas a favourite tipple of Baudelaire, Oscar Wilde, Aleister Crowley and John Barrymore, who managed to sleep through the Great Earthquake and Fire that destroyed San Francisco in 1906. Now that's good stuff!

Unappreciating Richard Madeley. Such a creep - honestly hope he's never on it because I wouldn't wish him on any of the pros.

Honestly, I know we're getting to the end of the series, but there are standards to maintain!

Spotty arses, people, spotty arses!

(Was I gushing over Jay again? She'll kill me )

Well I did imply Anton was a bitter old sod, who'd get worse if the final didn't go well for him and Katie

I think absinthe can make you hallucinate and you don't want that with showdances coming up.

Don't really care who wins - well as long as not Katie and is Jay. Would have liked another Gleb showdance, and dare I say it an Andre showdance but with gaffer tape round gob. I'll just have to make do with TTF.

Thanks for the laughs on this thread guys. Will be watching on catch up tomorrow

He was talking generally, not specifically hun, but pull up a chaise, grab a pashmina. I'm sure there will be plenty to unappreciate tomorrow - Kellie & Kevin's showdance for a start. I want them to go liftastic, he could barely swing her around last week, never mind lift her

I want carnage, as Agent Krycek would say!

I hope Natalie is too, I couldn't bear to see her lumbered with that sexist oaf

I did get a good laugh out of tonight's ITT, during that section where the celebs had to talk about where they'd end up (editing was very mixed up during that) and PP asked would he get to Blackpool, only for them to cut to one of the worst dances of the series, with his tongue hanging out like a thirsty spaniel. Just sheer bliss.

Also noticed during that VT that Georgia's teeth were blindingly glow-in-the-dark at the beginning. Glad she hasn't had that whitening renewed!

My favourite bit was the evil producer keep cutting from Richard barely being able to clap in time, let alone dance, to Jay clapping and boogeying quite unselfconsciously and still managing to look cool doing it in a Santa hat. Richard will watch that back and weep

Maybe Kevin will give us that nervous breakdown we lost out on when Helen left

Unappreciating Kim Wilde singing Last Christmas. Like Kim hate that song. Loved Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree at the end though.

Also unappreciating still being up at 3am

No idea but it can make you blind which isn't a good idea on a day you want to watch a TV programme!

It is also illegal!

Saw it on sale in Sainsgogs on Thursday. Think the really bad stuff has been removed from the recipe.

Not being a Madely watcher, it looks like he has aged suddenly & badly since last I saw him.

Not really appreciating the pro Kellie BBC bias. It could go against them though if there's a backlash vote by people who are fed up with it
Suspect it's because she is trailing the other 3 in votes, and they are trying to redress the balance. Honestly cannot see her winning. Think she'll probably go out first...

yep... She's doing my head in! As a former teacher, she reminds me of one of those spoiled kids that think they can cry and/or grin & get everything they want! ...
Always "amayzed" that someone of 24 comes across like a 12 year old. My nieces of that age come across as positively jaded and world weary by comparison... Only Gio saves that partnership for me and it's not enough to get me to vote for them...
