The BBC employee thing always makes me boggle. They haven't had one win since Hollins, and nobody can tell me he was their master-plan going into Series 7.

really... i'm just helping to keep the thread on track by pointing out most of the breathless appreciation going on here is largely imaginary... will of steel, heroic refusal to dance his jive, layers so deep and subtle than they can't be perceived except by cats or bats, or writers of lurid slash/ fan fiction
i'm happy to call him the delivery boy. he delivers a perfectly competent parcel around the floor, and occasionally (eg charleston) looks like he hasn't spent the entire time wondering the height to weight ratio of getting it over the back fence without breaking it. which is very thoughtful of him. i imagine he delivers the scouts promise before every dance. |

I think Kevin is popular with the other BTF alumni, but even of that group I am pretty sure Alijaz is the more popular.
I really loved the way Aliona and Katie hugged on ITT, you can see that there is a lot of appreciation between them and Anton and Jay. I didn't get any of that closeness with Georgia and Kellie, though I don't think they hate each other at all. Kellie seems very much in stage school mode, and Georgia is emotional. |

They've made a big deal this year about a pro winning twice - more than I can remember in previous years when Brendan made the final again. I think they really don't mind now, and would quite like a pro to win twice, because it has to happen sometime.

I dont think they push for their BBC people to win, just to do well.
Is it really not Agincourt? Oh dear! You mean that Jay is not secretly Henry V? OH I have been deceived! Or fill the dance off with our Strictly fallen. In winning there's nothing so becomes a man As modest stillness and humility Cry "God for Harry, Matt and St Jay!" (and OurLeona - said with real affection.)

Nah didn't you hear her on ITT this week? Harry and Matt were crap and she hated every second. Jay's the only one who's really made her cu...feel like a natural woman, she swears it.

Love the little poisoned gooseberries you throw into the conversation
![]() ![]() It his way of trying to keep our ovaries under control, it rarely works, especially not on finals day where I will either be rampaging around the board like Christopher Parker in his paso cape gloating, flicking vs and nur nur nur nur nur - ing in a very mature manner or I will be flicking my pashmina dramatically and claiming JAYWOZROBBED for the next 10 years. Either way behaving maturely is not in my vocabulary for the day and the more annoying it gets, the more I will enjoy either one. 😜😜😜😂 |

Unappreciating discovering a love of Masterchef Pros. I've just binge watched the semi finals. It's addictive.
![]() I'm quite excited about the Strictly Final but in the spirit of the thread, hoping that someone falls flat on their face. |

Just watching last night's ITT - unappreciating that little speech by Katie's daughters and husband for making me well up.
Also - who told Georgia that dress was a good look? That neckline looked like a straitjacket holding her arms by her sides. How much work has Kim Wilde had done? Her face looked a bit odd? (am only halfway through - I'm guessing there may be more crap to come...) |

Is Kim Wilde trying to look like Debbie Harry?
She's much younger and yet managed to look the same age, which is not how her 'work' was meant to make her look. How much weight has Miranda lost? Not enough. Hopefully she will lose more and actually disappear. If she does disappear I hope she takes both Cliftons with her. If Kevin wins I will scream and scream until I make myself sick. |
