Unappreciating discovering a love of Masterchef Pros. I've just binge watched the semi finals. It's addictive.

I'm quite excited about the Strictly Final but in the spirit of the thread, hoping that someone falls flat on their face.
If lovely sad faced Danilo doesn't win I shall have an epic sulk

Mostly I'm hoping they've told PP it's being held at Wembley this year so he'll miss it

He was ill yesterday, is it too ungracious to hope he's too ill to perform? Unless they dress him up as Pirate Pete again for his little performance, then he can stay for as long as he wants if they gaffer tape his mouth 😜😜😜

if they put him in the Pirate outfit again I shall forgive lots, he utterly failed to give me anything above 'meh' and no Bacofoil dance wise, so I'm bloody owed the Pirate costume

NEVAH, in the field of saturday night entertainment, was so much owed by so many to one, unassuming, if oversized, 12 year old chemistry geek.

<sings> I vow to thee my country...
But ..........he dances like an angel - if you can look beyond all that ^^^

They made a bit of a deal of it earlier when both Aliona and Aljaž were still in the running but that storyline seems to have died down now.
Somewhat unusually, every pro in the final has their own storyline. Anton's first final in 11 years, TTF's third final in a row - will he finally win?, Gio's a newbie, Aliona could win twice. Given that the pros sometimes feel expendable, it's quite nice to see a bit of attention on them this final.

They gave Artem Natalie, so they can't have been too averse to the possibility. Not so sure Aliona would've been their first choice mind
I think Aljaz would probably have been their first choice.

Well he's without a doubt my first choice every time. I could look at him all day.

I wonder if Katie & Anton and Jay & Aliona have been training in the same places? Certainly, didn't Anton pop in during one training session and suggest something? Perhaps they've been socialising during breaks. Of all the other celebs, he's seemed closest to Katie and to Anita, and there seems to be good respect and affection between Aliona and Anton.

I think the other pros can see and appreciate how good he is - his timing, etc. Most of them have been doing this long enough to know sometimes you get the good one, sometimes you don't, sometimes they win, sometimes they don't. But I'm sure most of them would like the best one to win.

I think TTF is in a little bubble of him, other Cliftons, Aljaz and Janette. It's a new pro/old pro thing.

I'm pretty sure they were rehearsing at RAD - Royal Academy of Dance - and I presume Katie comes from round there too so that is possible.

I love the DS thread calling him St Francis and one of Jesus' disciples. I do like him, he's great, but it does seem to be geared towards Mark.

Being held next week, as well.

Just watch out for the Friday panel though
Please, never let Richard Madeley anywhere near the main show. I'd prefer it if he never appeared on ITT again either. When they were singing at the end, Tameka and Ruthie were dancing and messing around together, leaving him looking like the complete knob that he is.

Tiny Tree Frog - from his leaping across lilypads to save Susannah in one of their dances.

No-one has managed to dance in jeans and a checked shirt before. He's refused spray tans, sparkles, chest out, dodgy satin shirts, exploiting viewer sympathies, using his family in emotional vts and I imagine, huge pressure from PTB to do the jive.

He may come across as emotionally immature if you don't look very deep, but he has a will of steel and a determination to do it his way, I really admire that, much as wardrobe must have had kittens. He's been true to himself, I genuinely think he doesn't care if he wins and he's one of the most authentic celebs Strictly has ever had.

Your loss if you missed it all imo
Indeed a nice guy but honestly the analysis of him is so intense, he's just a bloke who is on a show. I can imagine if Jay reads these threads he will either run to the hills or laugh. To be honest there are some very extreme fans outside of DS.

Also noticed during that VT that Georgia's teeth were blindingly glow-in-the-dark at the beginning. Glad she hasn't had that whitening renewed!
She was also a peculiar dark grey/brown colour. She could be the first celebrity who looked *more* natural after the Strictly spray-tanning elves got hold of her!

Just as well it is so warm today. Fingers crossed it stays that way until your heating is fixed.

It's 16 degrees outside today here. Heating? Ours is only allowed on when it goes down to 5, I grew up on the side of the mountain, I'm tough!

All she needed was Aliona's Charleston wig.

Why would you go soooo mahogany so young? It's very ageing.

I thought I heard him say last night on ITT in the middle of his burblings that he would not do it (not that he was being asked by Zoe mind you)

Methinks the Madely doth protest too much.

He's far too pompous, but after that dad dancing it would be hilarious
