I know they won't and I know all the reasons why, but I would so love Jay and Aliona to come out and do their jive and take the roof off the building. I don't often wobble but I have the feeling the paso just doesn't have enough oomph

My partner, who doesn't really take much notice, is really criss with the judges comments. If Jay didn't end upside down at the end, why didn't Georgia end up blindfold again?

Tonight shows just how subjective dancing is. The judges love gurning, shrieking, singing along (when it suits them), over the top hamminess. I love elegance and understatement.

Wondering whether I even want to watch the results now.

I'll be perfectly honest I was not over keen on J&A showdance, but once I had seen K&K, I got it! J&A showed off a range of skills (as did G&G) K&K just did one style.....As for Kanton....well that was just OTT, and I confess to enjoying it for exactly what it was (Anton, knowing he won't win but 'avin it')

The boss at my work has announced Christmas clothing week for the whole of next week. There are to be prizes. One of the prizes is called "Best in breed" and no one has yet explained what the prize is for. I'm scared.

Unappreciating that Helen wasn't dancing tonight. Every time I saw her I was wishing she could just go out and do a ballroom dance. Just one elegant ballroom dance from Helen and Aljaz, that's all I wanted.

Also unappreciating that Kellie probably was good at the lindyhop showdance but it highlights everything I dislike about both lindyhop and Kellie's dancing. It's athletic and high energy but it almost always looks so ungainly to me.

Exactly. Imagine if Jeremy had done a tango in that vein- they'd have torn him apart for it being stylistically wrong.

Must admit I loved K&A showdance. It was nowhere near perfect but the music was fantastic, and they threw everything at it. That fall at the end off the top, what trust!!!

I enjoyed all the showdances, even admit G&G's gave me goosebumps even though I hate the music.

Mind you I am completely dosed up with cold meds so may be delusional

i didn't need to see jay doing again what he's already done before, i already had that in the quickstep (still hate the themeing of that, he obviously should have been in short trousers as he's far too young to be at university...)

'show' isn't about manic or lifts, its about giving us something new, unexpected. I would have preferred a full out contemporary dance from them than that.

Non appreciating my entire bloody family voting for K&K

I will fully admit I didn't see the showdances properly - someone came in during Jay's and stayed talking til the dance was over and most of the way through Georgia's, my TV threw a fit half way through Kellie's and I was turbo-voting through Katie's. But Jay's seemed sleek, cool and modern - maybe not as much 'show', but plenty of dance. Didn't like the blindfold in Georgia's, the lifts seemed a bit... not quite with it in Kellie's and Katie seemed quite stiff and waiting for Anton to move her.

I really, really want them to go back to picking their own two dances for the final. I am done with repeating shitty week one dances, dances riddled with mistakes or ones that they did in dance offs. Done, I tells ya.
