Also, I love Giovann but his technique was seriously dodgy in that charleston. I was too busy voting to watch it live, but when they were showing it on red button as Gio & Georgia were talking, he was barely raising his legs. She was awesome, he was decidedly average

Unappreciating that I was a nervous wreck and couldn't watch ¾ of today.

I appreciate that the final made everyone on here remember just how annoying Kellie and Kevin were, rather than feeling sorry for her because she hadn't had a nice dress
![]() I do feel a little like that final missed out on Gleb doing his most spectacular moves yet- I imagine the showdance starting with him descending from the ceiling on a wire whilst Anita just lay on the dance floor waiting to be tea bagged. |

I saw it. I even said it during the programme.
Ladies and gentlemen - during your Strictly final tonight - The part of Kara Tointon was played by Jay McGuinness The part of Matt Baker was played by Georgia Mae Foote The part of Pamela Stephenson was played by Kellie Bright Also featuring:- Katie Derham as the aristocrat who was murdered in act one And The Giant Pickled Walnut (specially soured) - Len Goodman The Back End of the Pantomime Horse (full of crap) - Craig Revel Horwood We hope you enjoyed this year's Strictly. Please come back next year for more fun, frolics, manipulations and machinations. P.S. For sale - last remaining crates of Darren Gough dolls and several packets of pins. No longer needed. P.P.S. I may have been drinking. |

Unappreciating that Kellie doing a crappy overthemed half-tango, a leaden mediocre showdance and a Charleston that was second best to Georgia's somehow is her SMASHIN DA FINAL and DESERVIN DA WIN. I couldn't effing stand Denise and especially James but go back and watch her final dances to see an unpopular ringah ACTUALLY slam it into warp drive at the last minute to try to win.
DVO & JamesPrat were sensational in their Final - KK - meh. Very forgettable. |

Just re watched Jay's Final Paso and I seriously want to unappreciate that he didn't get 40.
Georgia's charleston was fab, but she went obviously out of time in the final turns, and IMO Jay's Paso was the dance of the night - his obvious joy during the dance, he put his heart and soul into it, you could (finally) see him 'living' the dance, fist in the air grinning in the final floor spin, punching his chest as he knelt for the final pose..... That was a Strictly Final dance. Compared to that dance all of Kellie's tonight were stage school hammy, lumpen, technically lacking, cold. Jaywozrobbed!!!!!!!! of a 40 |

I've just managed to mollify Furby cat who left the sofa like a rocket when I yelled when Jay won. She's not normally bothered by noise, she's the one sitting on the window sill enjoying the fireworks when all the others are under the bed, but then again, I don't normally yell quite that loud. She's allowed herself to be coaxed in from the garden with some cheese Dreamies and is now curled up on my bed purring.
That's where I'm heading now, none too sober. Totally against the ethos of the thread, may I just say (!) thank you to all of you for making me welcome on the thread, it's been great |

Can I also Unappreciate that Kellie basically showed no range tonight? Two charlestons (basically) and a minimal strong ballroom?
Also hated the judges choices. All four were the wrong ones. Katie should have done the jive (to show she could actually do Latin). Georgia should have done her quickstep which was good but could be improved. Kellie should have done one of the dances that landed her on the dance off (because I am cruel!!!) not really, but could have done the foxtrot (I have no recollection of it, just thought of the slowest ballroom). Jay should have done the waltz or the AT. Anyway, Jay won. So I shouldn't complain. |

I don't know, I think it was just her hand wasn't shaped properly?
Her back and head were right out in extreme foxtrot-like hold. I thought in tango you stand up straighter and bend your knees so there's no rise and fall? 😟 |

I do however massively appreciate that the public chose a gifted, subtle dancer who doesn't do jazz hands, gurning and sob stories as their champion. It feels GREAT.

And by the way, unappreciating my poor English. Before when I talked about average scores, I meant that overall the dances throughly the series Jay and Kellie are equal. Obviously, Kellies had a much much higher average tonight, but coming in, Jay was above her.

There have been times that I really unappreciated that they didn't put the judges comments and scores on the YouTube videos. But I'm really glad they do it that way after tonight's "judging performance"
