I'd be delighted to have them both next year - but I wouldn't blame them if they told the powers that be where to go if they were asked! I'd probably swap Trent for any of the male pro dancers, with the sole exception of Aljaz, given the chance!
Me too. I do like Tristan and Gleb but not exactly for the right reasons.

Me too. The only reason I didn't want Gordana was that I assumed they'd get rid of Aliona to have her. Now Aliona has chosen to leave I'm cool with Gordana
They look really similar!!

Researching her I found this website.

Either Kevin has doppelgänger or they got the names very very wrong (it's the latter one, obviously).

Unappreciating my self inflicted headache. Also the grumblings about Jay & Aliona winning are still rumbling on.

Happy 2016 everyone. 🎉

Here's to 2016 and may it surpass 2015...I'd rather the grumblings that they won than the crowing if they hadn't...

Seriously unappreciating that even if the last series left a bitter sweet taste, the new series is nine months away. That's just too long.

Regarding Robin - I think it's difficult to judge him considering he never had someone with natural grace and rhythm who he could chuck everything, choreographically, at. Patsy was completely beset with nerves, both Anita and Deborah were lovely people but never stood a chance whilst Lisa had the funtime factor but not the talent to go with it.

Kevin, in comparison, has had three partners who could actually dance and perform. It grates with me slightly that he got Frankie after Susanna considering he finished (joint) second with the latter... mind you, Aliona was given Harry after Matt so it wasn't exactly a new thing.

Although if he gets another able performer we will know it is a fix.

Think choices of partner for Kevin depends on height as he's not that tall - and the smaller women in recent years have mostly been good dancers.

This year, if he didn't get Kellie, he would have had Georgia or Anita as a partner - both good.

Next year will depends in who Strictly can get - and how tall the women celebrities are.

Unappreciating that we've 8 months to wait for next year's reveals.

The researchers who persuade celebrities must have a difficult job!

PS Happy New Year

Finalists often get a contender the year after. Its a good policy of rewarding hard work. Like Natalie getting Scott Maslen after Ricky Wittle, Aliona Harry, Pasha getting Kimberly (after Chelsee and then Rachel -on paper with potential- and then Caroline).

Indeed!

Exactly. The height is a restriction. If they don't get a short, chubby older woman for next series, there will be strictly riots.

Well Anne Widdecombe is short, but I don't want to see anyone like her again!

She'd probably be a total hoot though and then she and Kevin would get to the finals just to troll everyone (where they'd lose, to troll Kevin ) make it happen!

I actually reckon he'd be fab with a duffer, sort of like how I liked Aljaz with Abbey but adored him having such an obvious whale of a time with Alison.

I think sometimes the pro's actually like having an obvious duffer - there's no pressure and they can get the credit if they go further than they should but not the blame if they go out on time - especially when they they look at the pale, wasted and twitchy wreck that was Kev on the threshold of his third final.

I think the worst type of celeb for a pro must be the 'good on paper' variety who turn out to be a bit pants. There's always going to be a slight whiff of 'wasted potential - would have been better with x' whenever they go out, even if it's obvious that the celeb in question was in actuality going to be rubbish whoever they were with.
