It will be better that's for sure. They look like marking the dance anyway.
Whether it will be an AT or not, that will be answered on Saturday.

In a way I'm sort of hoping, if Jay gets through this week, he has the samba just so Aliona can also dismiss the double bounce with an epic eye roll 🙄😂

Didn't Kellie do it in her salsa but he just pushed her straight across the floor like someone power mowing their lawn?

It's weird, because a lot of the others have become quite watered down. Cha cha, salsa and samba do genuinely run into each other, as seen by Kellie's generic Latin with lifts. Foxtrot and waltz frequently are indistinguishable. Very odd.”

Somebody (mimi? Mindyann?) did a brilliant digest of dances as performed on Strictly - does anybody still have it?

That was one of the ugliest moves I've seen
Seemed more of a time filler than an actual move.

Not sure it will because that choreography just didn't look right. It wasn't even that it was danced badly, it was the choreography that was horrible to my eyes. The AT is meant to be intimate and compact, that was anything but

We only saw a little part of the dance, I'm hoping the rest of it is better

I thought when I heard the music they'd got, that they were doing the ballroom tango, forgetting they already did one.

I have not appreciated a paso all series, and I fear Helen has met her nemesis with it now. Music totally wrong, and ragged wretch look and theme hardly conducive to feistiness, which is probably a challenge for her anyway.

I feel a bit the same to be honest, she is brilliant at elegant and graceful, but feisty and passionate not so much. We do have her paso face to look forward to which may give as many laughs as the tango face

Think it could be a really unexpected bottom 2 on the judges' leaderboard because Kellie looks OK in her training.

For an actress, to have such a bad tango face is confusing!
I hope her paso will be better.

The external removable fluff filter was clean but I'm not sure what might be going on further inside.

My hairdresser thinks I'm a bit strange anyway so I've nothing to lose

In fairness, what constitutes a good tango (or Paso) face on Strictly? I mean, what is it they're supposed to be trying to act? So far as I can make out the instructions are to be angry but also sexy and passionate but disdainful and... do a tango face! Scrunch up your face a bit and really focus your eyes and hope the judges are feeling nice.

Paso is.... make a face like a bullfighter and a bull and a cape and also a Spanish dancer. And make sure they can see the dust of the bullring in your face and the anger of the bull but also you're attracted to the matador and you're an inanimate object which is still very, very passionate!

I laugh at the faces as much as anyone but I can see where the celebs get a bit lost with it!

My advice is more what not to do than what to do, so don't do a Vorderumba face in the rumba, don't do a Smugsanna face in the paso, don't look like a hair sniffing serial killer in the AT like the Donovan and don't look like you're trying to poo a particularly large log in the tango.

Also, if you're looking like any one of Emma Bunton, Pamela Stephenson, Susanna Reid or Lisa Riley, you may want to dial it down a few....thousand.

You don't need to thank me 😜😜😜

Females:
Tango: copy Aliona's expression in the Paso.
Paso: copy Aliona's expression in a Tango.

Pasha did a good tango face when dancing with Kimberly.

Aside from that, bullfighters can have really scary faces when in the ring. When dancing flamenco some expressions are scary!
