She may as well have a big sign saying NOVELTY CANDIDATE on her back. But she has Anton so she doesn't need it I guess.

Judge seems to be what they're calling him (arguments on DS passim!)

Yep, missed that one as well
Doing well here - I think it's because they didn't seem to go with mist of the really obvious ones.
Apart from Lesley.
And Judge ...

It's week one. Give them time!

Edit: unappreciating that I'm going to get tearful at Daisy and Aljaz - song was played at a loved one's funeral earlier this year.

Is "Jump, Jive and WAIL" a veiled (not very veiled) dig at Louise's singing?

Or perhaps a tribute to the moment that TTF cries out as he finally knees himself in the chin!

That'll be a bittersweet song for you Red. Here's hoping Aljaz conjures up a beautiful waltz to do it justice for your memories.

If that does happen I'll be watching his head closely to see how shockproof his hair is

And then Tameka and Gorka do a series defining paso to Y Viva Espana and as the wonderful wonderful singers trill about this being the year we're off to sunny Spain he wanders at the back of the stage in manner of Eric Morcombe with a straw donkey under his arm sobbing 'you'll never have Blackpool'

Seems like standard Indian artist within Strictly producer world (Sunetra had a Whitney song two years ago).

And why is Ed Balls turning up on every BBC show (wasn't he on that bake off show recently?)?

I'm convinced "Are You Lonesome Tonight?" is a reference to Ed losing his seat last year. I'd have gone for "Empty Chairs at Empty Tables" but I don't think you can waltz to that...

That's not stopped them before ... there have been some startling waltzes to tunes which originated in 4/4 time. I can't remember any examples, they must have been so awful that protective brain bleach deployed itself.

Considering the 'band' massacre the songs rather than have the actual tracks played, it has really peed me off to see them referring to Lady Marmalade as being by Pink, Christina et al. If they have to cite a cover version, couldn't they credit La Belle? First cover and best.
