Yep, he's just a bit too much for me I think. I'm hoping it's weeek one nerves and he calms down a bit otherwise I think he'll just annoy me no end!

Oh yes, I remember I really liked Miss Fun Fun Funity's first dance

Yes RobDot does need to calm down, I think he will, I know he is best mates with Benedict Cumberbatch. Who officiated at this wedding. I can't imagine Mr Cumberbatch being best freinds with someone quite as screamingly OTT all the time.
It would be exhausting.
I need to go and lie down on the nearest chaise for a bit.

By the way who do we have as thread serfs this year,

I nominate Cillian Murphy, on an Irish theme we could also have Jonathen Rhys Meyers.

Isn't Aidan Turner, irish as well?

Just caught up with last nights show. Not a bad effort, I really enjoyed it strangely. Not really much to unappreciate. Love that Queen Nat has someone with a bit of potential even it is a vague bit of potential so far.

On the subject of Dance Dance Dance which ITV are bringing to the UK, I wanted to post some clips for perdie (who I know will appreciate them). These are a far cry from SCD though, but when they are this good, they kinda make me miss SYTYCD a bit less.

Spoiler
Robin & Buddy - WTF

Robin - Sorry

Buddy - What do you mean?

Yes you are right there should be a close on three - think with week 1 they were going easy on her but wish Len was consistent my brother was outraged he said she had good footwork (he is a stickler for technique) Lesley's hunched shoulder line is Anton's fault - he should lower his hold a bit more - will be interesting how AJ copes in ballroom too (similar height diff)”

On a serious note Lesley does seem to have a bit of a Dowager's hump going on when she is just standing normally, which isnt going to help posture wise either.

yes agree that will not help, but a few adjustments in his hold and Anton could make it look better.

Oh, for sure.
One of the odder pairings this year, that one. Can't make up my mind if it was just laziness on the part of the Pairing Pixies or a special request from Lesley - in which case you'd have thought the chemistry would be a bit better.

it is a strange pairing for sure but celeb pool was difficult too, I know many think she should have been with Kevin and height wise think it would have worked but I have sneaky feeling Louise asked for Kevin - her general demeanor and Kevin is a 'comfy' type of pro not being an Aljaz or Pasha and also think she may know him from the celeb football chairty matches

I'm 99% sure that Louise asked for Kevin - she said knows Frankie - which I thought was a clue as well

If memory serves, she said she requested the frumpy wardrobe (so as not to make her husband jealous or something)

Long time lurker here, but I'm not sure I've actually posted on the NAT thread before (?), so perhaps I'd better unappreciate something. Not much to go on so far (except the Cliftons, of course), so I'd like to unappreciate that I can't unappreciate AJ's dancing. I was fully prepared to happily loathe him as a new Jared until I saw him in rehearsal. Maybe his Jared comparison will be reinstated tonight? I hope that qualifies.

ETA: what is a thread serf?

Someone who attends to our every whim.
Shuddupfluffy has had Morten Harket in a cage in the corner for years and Sofakat won't let go of Shemar Moore unless I distract her with Idris Elba

Good afternoon and welcome, by the way.

PoorLouise, worryingly for some one who presented The Clothes Show, doesn't seem to have grasped the difference between modest (see Naga) and frumpy (see her grannies clothing coupon rail). When the septuagenarian is dressed more age appropriately than her, she really should think about buying Vicky Giggles some treats.

Not even if I come armed with sufficient vodka to cause her to pass out and lots of fragrant massage oil to pry him loose?

That sounds like a plan - although Jameson's might work better ...

Think that both Rinder and Ore will be breaking the fourth wall each week, just to prepare you.

Mind you, Rinder has the luck of having a new pro (or rather not having the Clifton girls). So he can get away with a lot more.

Honestly it makes me feel her pain trying to stand upright and extended.

I don't want to see her try to shake her hips. I worry she is going to injure herself. She stands and moves like someone with arthritis and I know her biography says 70 but I wouldn't be suprised if she hasn't shave off a few for years.

Not that only those who are aged have arthritis, it's just that she doesn't move well at all.

Vodka doesn't work, but I have successfully distracted her with a stiff Jameson's 😉😜

But she will notice, then just distract her by claiming loudly you can't believe the state of AT on Strictly, that'll give you a few more hours 😉

Currently lounging on fabulous cushions in my Bedouin yurt. Do not attempt to remove. I have highly polished fingernails this year and I'm not afraid to use them.

Very much wish to unappreciate the Joanne/Ore pairing on first show evidence. I see great potential in Ore and thus far it seems that Joanne is going for a female version of her sibling's partnership with Kellie. Watching them felt like someone was taking a cheese grater to said polished fingernails. I am not happy. Step away from the cheese aisle Joanne.

Brenda must be in heaven - he's got a question about Dirty Dancing on Pointless!

EDIT: Or not - he didn't have an answer!

Agree. I never understand why everything in life is so dreary for them. But then a part of me secretly believes that their relentless moaning is their raison d'etre. They know nothing else. They suck the joy out of everything.

At least we don't have to live with them!
