Ah now you see I got a bit more savvy after my dissappointment. I specifically asked Sky if subscribing to their offer included Idris Elba. When they said it didn't I cancelled my order.

Well it does, but only in advert form!

Hmm. It would certainly be worth checking out her pashima. Come to think of it, that might be a good policy to follow in any case. Goodness knows what she has spirited away under that exotic cloak over the years.

If the NAT has now spoken and this is how it's supposed to work, I feel very disappointed. I have voted for several people in the past and haven't received any, in the post or by any other means.

I going to have to change my voting criteria, I currently need a reliable plumber, anyone know if any of them have plumbing experience?

Greg is currently top of my list for a vote next week, the ceilings here are very tall , some of them could do with a coat of paint, Daisy too as a sort of BOGOF offer.

Oh I like this new slavery development. I wanted to vote for four couples on Saturday so I paid actual hard cash to vote for Daisy and Aljaz. *rubs hands, peers out of window looking for delivery van*

Might have to fight you for him He's two years older than me and I've had a crush on him since Middlemarch

We need to get this these terms and conditions sorted,

8 o'clock Saturday when I have voted for them, is it you or I or the BEEBS responsibility to deliver them to me for my ceiling?

I didn't make my point very well about paying to phone your votes. I know that some people voted umpteen times!

I know that some do- but that just makes it even more important that such mega-invested people should remember that their passion for a celebrity doesn't give them dibs on their every move.

I also know that you're a very empathetic poster Gill

[quote=Wiskas2;84191961]I've had it since I was 15, I'm now 60. It comes and ebbs but never totally goes away, in fact I'm in a flare up now. It is an evil, invidious illness that I would not wish on my worst enemy, and to see a heartless, self publicising know-all come out with that 'get with the programme' rubbish - AND in Mental Health Awareness Week, too!!! - makes my blood boil.

Walking away from a damaging situation is very brave and I commend your courage. Well done.[/QUOTE

Amen to that. from a fellow sufferer. Some days the hardest thing I have to do is actually get out of bed. One step at a time most days, one day at a time just doesn't happen.

Sufferers are not pairs of curtains, pulling yourself together is just not an option.

Hey you! You know me, when it's not the Merlin boys or Matt Doyle I'm crushing on, it's the passion of dancing

Not for me to advise you of course, but might I suggest you choose Cloudier as part of your BOGOF. She will be brilliant for doing the skirtings. Being so petite she will hardly have to bend over. As for getting into awkward nooks and crannies her bendiness will be invaluable.

Plus for very, very tall ceilings she can balance on Greg's head, giving you an additional 4' something reach.

In fact you could give her a brush in each hand and Greg can spin her around above his head and she can do the whole ceiling in half the time. Quarter if she can hold paint brushes with her feet too - and I bet she can.

Lurker seeking g sanctuary from the nastiness out there. I didn't know much about Will before he started Strictly as I studiously avoid Cowell vehicles but as a sufferer from depression I have to say alarm bells rang when I watched him on the results show; he was definitely showing signs of extreme stress. That's the problem with depression, it can be triggered by stress, anxiety or nothing at all, just a chemical imbalance, but when it is triggered you feel worthless and every small thing becomes magnified. As others have said it can't be cured but if you are lucky you learn to manage it and one coping strategy is to remove yourself from situations you can't control. If that's what Will has done then good luck to him.
It's nice in here, with the cushions and pashminas; I've got twelve different types of gin I'm happy to share and I make a mean chocolate Guinness cake. I wouldn't mind a time share of Rufus Sewell and/or Richard Armitage.

Unfortunately, my ceilings are extremely tall - a good 12-14 ft. I therefore need both Greg and Aljaz. Does anyone know where I can get a two for one deal?

Joining you in the tall ceiling, because we are posh, like sniff!

I find I am neater at the edges than my husband hence the Greg Daisy combination.

But now you have mentioned Aliaz I may go the whole hog, have Greg, Natalie, Daisy and Aliaz. Ceilings sorted liketdly split ! With no scaffolding.

Being just over 5 foot myself I have already done the skirting boards myself, as you say no real bending involved

I haven't voted for ages and I didn't know about this rule when I did. I'm a bit worried now - I hope I'm not going to get a sudden late delivery, I have voted for some very odd people over the years.

Welcome. It's safe in here, but it can get a bit crowded with all the actors and Irish men. At least we haven't got any loud rock stars at the moment
