I unappreciate the words "well all I can say is..."

Partly because it almost inevitably precedes some vitriolic, insensitive garbage but mainly because it never effing is all they can say and is the forerunner to a thread or seven's worth of drivel running for bloody pages. And pages. And pages...
And 'but'. When I rule this world, I'm going to ban but - especially when it follows 'don't want to be xxxx, but' because it usually means, oh yes you do - and again pages and pages of bile.
Following it into the banned pen, will be 'being honest' and 'telling it like it is' which seem to be worn as a badge of honour by people just egging themselves on to be as mean as possible. Just because you can say something, doesn't mean you should.

I like just like to take a minute to appreciate Oti on ITT. I don't think I've ever seen a pro who has so obviously spent that last 3 weeks mentally siting the glitterball around the house and has finally decided on there. I think Danny is terrified. Goodness knows what she will do if Greg starts an unstoppable SPORTSMAN journey.

yes I fear for Danny if Oti doesnt start watching a few back series of SCD and realise that the jooooourrrneeyyyyy candidate is more often than not the winner. Being brilliant from the off rarely works - i think a timely contempowaft routine is called for so Len can mark him down saying it was all "faffing abaaaaht" and Danny can do maximum woobie face as he gets slated leading to triumphant return the week after

I made exactly that point on Monkseal's blog last night after seeing the Safety Sex Face photo he used. Internal monologue writ large upon the face.

Haha, yes you are absolutely right, have you watched this show before Loving "contempowaft" Oti had definitely got the gleam of the glitterball in her eyes last night. Still, nice to see a pro who is not yet island bound! Wonder how Brendan will be after a studio day hearing Boom bang a bang played by Dave Arch and the gang and then there is poor Pasha. I have the feeling his Charleston face will be the most haunted we have seen and it isn't even Halloween!

I was hoping that a 'Special Guest' would turn up to sing/yell it down the coal hole live

ITT was hilarious. If Danny was in any doubt that he really is just her adjuvant he just needs to watch the interview back. I bet she has his name written on her hand to remind her.

Oti and Danny are so giving me Nat and Ricky vibes right now, all I am saying is, if I were a paparazzi photographer I would make myself very scarce.

If Danny comes out and talks medical twaddle about hernias post SCD he will be dead to me forever, for gods sake if your going to invent a medical problem, at least have it remotely within the bounds of possibility.

They were the 'winners that never was'. I thought they were a brilliant pairing and they scored very highly but f I remember correctly that muppet Hollins won as part of TeamCola. Although their routines were excellent, people just never took to Ricky

completely non appreciating the amount of money people have being used as a yardstick as to whether they are allowed to have any form of mental health difficulty

It was Natalie's first year and she arrived all Tina Sparkles and we're going to get 10's in the first week and I've won the Aussie version ... and then she got paired with Ricky and her enthusiasm went off the chart (he's awesome, he's the first male celeb who has actually led me) which is now known as JustNat, because she is the same with a first week boot as a finalist .

Add to that it came after the bad temperted grump fest of the Tom Chambers win and voters were still a bit annoyed over the dance off and hauling people to the final regardless and flexed their muscles over not particularly wanting the seemingly bland pretty one over the character driven fun ones.

Then it all just dissolved in a wave of car accidents and the final was another foregone conclusion slog.

Ah, the olden days. Fun times

Not to mention people deciding they were a sexy sizzling couple and when he smashed a paparazzi camera instead of letting them have a photo of Natalie and himself, was under threat of going to court it all fizzled out with a really bad taste.

Then he wined for ever that it was all fixed and he should have won and he the brave soldier had done all the lifts even though his life was in danger every day as he had a hernia the size of Yorkshire and Natalie is the size of a bull elephant, the cruel bastards made him do it at gunpoint!

All really poor form.

Lurker seeking g sanctuary from the nastiness out there. ...
It's nice in here, with the cushions and pashminas; I've got twelve different types of gin I'm happy to share and I make a mean chocolate Guinness cake. I wouldn't mind a time share of Rufus Sewell and/or Richard Armitage.
Oh hello, you can stay

Yes, but I didn't know you were hiding in THIS thread - I'd been avoiding it as I misunderstood the premise of the thread entirely and have clearly been missing out!

I take it it's safe to keep my Sir Gwaine cosily tucked up in here?
Well I might have to borrow him for a bit as I seem to have put Sir Leon somewhere after a particularly late night with a bottle of Absolut and some cheese straws and I can't remember where I left him.

They were the 'winners that never was'. I thought they were a brilliant pairing and they scored very highly but f I remember correctly that muppet Hollins won as part of TeamCola. Although their routines were excellent, people just never took to Ricky
A lot of the problems for Ricky were what was happening "off screen" unfortunately.

Yeah this pretty much. I didn't warm to Natalie that first year at all but she's now one of my fave female pros.

And Carley Stenson

I'd love to see Danny take part in SCD but probably not for his potential dance ability

I'd like to appreciate all the ignorance and spite 'out there'.

As a result, I've just vented all my anger and frustration in cleaning the bathroom and I attacked it with such vigour that it's really quite dazzling.

Loving all the views on Oti

I'm another one hiding out in here and praying for another shock to rock the Stictly world as it's rather boring out there (as well as scary).

Wish my anger manifested itself in a dazzling bathroom instead of eating a packet of jaffa cakes
. Now I am still angry with an additional yucky sugar nausea

Especially when you have some ridiculous charges like £150 for debt and mental health doctor’s note.

The dreadful attitude there is still towards Mental Health problems is appalling.

Just at the moment I'm quite calm, but I may venture out again later to work myself up for a spot of kitchen cleaning.

I need to un-appreciate that nobody is annoying me very much this year.

I expected Anastacia to be LuLu-like.
She hasn't been.

I expected Danny to be Mark Wright the Second, but so far he isn't.

Joanne and Kevin seem more subdued this year.

Tameka started to get on a couple of small nerves but she has been removed before it got too bad.

Daisy played the dead relative card a tad early and was on the edge of annoying me but she has slipped back down the scale again.

Len has his moments, but even he hasn't scored very highly on the annoying & irritating meter yet.

And Anton has done some actual dancing!!!

I thought Ricky was quite slimy and creepy to be honest. A bit bot, too.

I have a feeling she'll be heading there in January once Danny is Natalie Gumede'd. Although I'd like to think she'll come back with Nat Lowe-levels of unfailing enthusiasm

Yeah- who knew Katie Hopkins found the time to post on our humble forum eh.

ETA- misunderstood who you were replying to, but you get my drift.
