She is, and so is Lesley. Neither of them are/were brilliant, but there were others I would have happily seen in the dance off over either of them.

Such a shame, both Lesley and Daisy are lovely!

I don't think it's Erin Island with Greg so much as he's an Olympian who's used to winning when he does well and losing when he does badly. I think he was just a bit appalled at Daisy going into the dance off when his cha cha cha was clearly much worse than her Charleston. Being an Olympian in this type of show must be quite weird in some ways...

Bless Anton.
Lovely goodbye speech (admitting that he hasn't been trying for the last few years...)

Indeed - both lovely ladies.

Well, he did get to the final somehow last year.

Rather a pleasant pro dance I thought, but unthemed would be nice for a change. (And please put Pasha front and centre a bit more now )

Oh, and why has Claud lost her lipstick again? An orange face is bad enough, but why then use the same shade on her lips? I just don’t get it. And the shoes…every time I think, their podiatrists must make a fortune, as standing on those contraptions for a whole evening should come with a health and safety risk warning. (And they aren’t even pretty imho.)

When Tess says ‘in no particular order’ I nearly fall off the sofa every time. Yeah, right. Pure chance, that.

Guest singer – erm. Ah. Who she? (No, don’t tell me, I don’t think I need to know.)

And yes, I love Daisy. Her smile, her deep laugh, how she and Aljaz work together. All good.

Oh, and applause for Rob (no, his name is not judge…) for his nice speech on the value of teachers. Can’t say that too often.

Not sure I want to contemplate Halloween, really.

Halloween is worse week of the series for me. Stupid costumes, theming, props, music. How many different ways can they interpret it? All been done to death.

For those wondering, the guest singer was LeAnne Rimes, had a hit in the 90s when she was a teen (How Do I Live) & sang Can't Fight The Moonlight from the film Coyote Ugly (a guilty pleasure movie of mine, mainly due to Adam Garcia *hubba hubba*) a few years later.

Odd thing, but Danny & Oti never seem to get called in the first half, but Ore & Jwanne do. Or am I just dreaming?

Greg being a judges pet and public pet annoys me more and more every week, he gets away with all sorts others get criticised and marked down for. I just find him a not terribly interesting person and his dancing is terrible. Can't believe Daisy was in the dance off and not him!

As far as there are not two good dancers in the DO, the bad ones get weeded out one by one. Greg showed some promise, but if he does not improve he'll end up in the DO. The public is giving him time to improve, hopefully he will use it, not everybody had been so lucky.

Oh good, I was starting to think I was the only person on the thread of the right age to remember her! How Do I Live was on one of the first Now [number] tapes that I bought, I think.

Really quite choked by how upset Daisy was to see Lesley go. She comes across as such a genuine person. Hope this gets her a bounce, and opens up the gap between her and Laura as the two young hotties.

I can beat that - I still have my copy of the original 'Now That's What I Call Music' (no number) on vinyl

Crumbs I remember when those compilation LPs weren't even made up of the original artists, but dreadful cover versions.

It was a question in the jackpot round on Pointless recently - I could name a lot of the artists from it

Yep, me too

I take it the pro dance tonight was an attempt at a Guinness World Record for the most props ever used in a dance? (Counting the judges as props, I think they got the record).
