I noticed they shot Daisy being 'scared' by Alijaz in the Halloween trailer from behind her, presumably because she had a huge smile on her face throughout the whole thing

Coyote Ugly.....mine too! Feel good tap along, talent overcoming nerves, generally a nice movie

Why do I suddenly have Christmas adverts featuring the name "K-tel" in my head?
Have I dreamt this?

Wife of Eddie Cibrian, also rather nice

Why do I hear Rob praising the pros and think - aww that's nice ... but list to Ore gushing about his best friend Jo and get the full body cringe usually reserved for,the rhumba? Have we ever had a male celeb quite so invested? He's reaching Snowden levels and it's only week 5.

Daisy is a complete sweetheart. To be fair, I like Laura as well, when she's stood in front of me. I just tend to forget her when she isn't. Had the same problem with Georgia last year. It must be Joe Varney. He must throw the cloak of forgetability over his partners.

Because Rob was sincere and articulate, and Ore was just speaking in cliches?

Kevin is known as Tiny Tree Frog, so he won't need any paint.

Fun times

Questions from my mum - if Greg and Cloudier had won a gold medal in Rio, would they have featured in the Olympic hero parade VT, rather than just the commentator, is that why Greg had to be given his bit of track and will the next VT for Cloudier be a day trip to Glasgow for a bit of sprung floor or a sliver of vault?

I have finally had a chance to watch the programme

OMG Ed, don't do that again love! Poor Katya, poor Neil!

Judge, ok but really he has reached a level where I don't know where he is supposed to go next. The VW with a cow shows where the PTB want him to go, but I still want to see if he does a straight dance how good he really is, but it was really sweet his speech about Oksana.

Ore however was cliched, I fell in love with SCD watching Alesha waltz all those years back.
Ore's dance had everything, Jo had the dress, the music, a good dance, but nothing, there was no emotional connection for me at all. Whether it's the lack of connection between Ore and Jo or Ore just always being "on" and despite the tears not connecting with the dance or audience I don't know. It just a dance danced very well but lacking in any joy. It is workmanlike.
Danny however, is really coming out of his shell and I really liked that as a rumba, bearing in mind most rumbas have me heading behind the soda, especially bloke rumbas. It wasn't perfect but it was enjoyable and I am beginning to see Danny as more than a pretty face, I can also see his emotional enjoyment of dance.
Lesley, odd, skippy , not at all sure why the scramble over the table, her worst dance, Anton was genuinely sweet with her. Deserved to go with that.
Daisy again really a sweet person, loving dancing, it wasn't her best dance but I am glad she stayed as I would miss her. Though hair and makeup obviously loathe her.
Cloudier frantic messy, didn't like it.
Greg, I honestly think Natalie can't work on his pigeoned toe ness as it would effect his run up, or she would have done already, it's just a shame he will never improve in dance without it being addressed but perhaps he has more to do in the athletic world.
Anastacia, light elegant, better with Gorka than Brendan, can he be poorly next week too please.
Laura I didn't really miss you, I don't think at this point she is adding anything to the show.
Loiuse, you know when she was dancing I thought about Anne Widdecome😱. How every dance had to be done on her terms, everything prim and proper and I thought to be honest that's Loiuse. Everything has to be done mimsy. Very prim and proper, very one note.
I wouldn't miss her if she went too. Kevin's choreography is always very themed and same each year, add in a one note dancer and you know exactly what you are going to get.

When I was at school we had an outing to see the film Young Winston, which was basically just Winston Churchill being himself only younger and with the Zulu instead of the Nazis. So that would make Louise Young Widdie. Same rubbish, just a younger version and with TTF instead of Tony Beak.

Good to see that a Bandwagon has sprung up (in the presenting thread). Who get's to be first to throw Blulu off of the back of it?

As our thread is nearly 400 pages long now, isn't it time for a new one?

I'll be generous. As long as she gets thrown off, I don't care who does it.

Done a bit of an amendment I'd like Brenda to be able to see it too.

That spare pro dancer bloke is getting on my nerves.

He's too eager and too OTT. He's making Kevin look quiet and camera shy.

In his defence, he was probably concerned his wife was about to get concussed by Ed on Saturday. He is a bit keen though.

I used to fancy Eddie when he was a firefighter in Third Watch. I thought Leanne's caterwauling was awful.

I can hear the authoritative voiceover now "Available at Boots and Timothy White's" whatever happened to Timothy Whites? it used to be next to MacFisheries in our town. Where did MacFisheries go, come to that?

It was Timothy White's and Taylors originally. And what happened to Freeman, Hardy and Willis?
