Sometimes the efforts of the BBC to promote one of their own come to nothing quite quickly.
The public didn't take to Naga in any way at all. That's why she soon went out.

I think the two BBC employees that truly benefited were Matt Baker and Susanna. Matt showcased that you can throw anything at him and not really crumble. (And he wasn't that well treated by Strictly TPTB). And he got his The One Show pretty because of it.
Susanna became even more of a name and could negotiate a great deal with ITV.

Poor Danni, so deserving of the top slot and forever the bridesmaid never the bride.”

Though I think he has the highest average (bat signal to Monkseal) of this year. Plus, being perceived as underscored does him more good than harm.

Love it!

Unappreciating that Brenda is selfishly well enough to dance this weekend . Gorka has been rubbish at getting himself front and centre in the Clauditorium (tough competition for that though ) so where are my perving opportunities going to come from now? *contemplates which male pro to knobble next*

Unappreciating that Anastacia seems to be in blowing black for Saturday. I was so hoping for silver for Brendan's Meatloaf extravaganza

You may have factored in the hair, but how about an extra foot for that %&*%&*& trilby? Does he think he's just fallen out of The Breakfast Club?

Not just of this series, at the moment he's tracking to have the third highest average score of any contestant ever (although he'll probably fall a bit further back this week if his foxtrot is as crap as it looked in the training footage).

Jwann wanted to be a Disney Princess, TTF wanted to be in a boy band.

Now that Take That are 2 men down, he probably thinks he's in with a chance. Basically, it's an audition

I ❤️ Oti so much.

So Brendan not only has the indecency to be well, he can't even manage Bacofoil II for us!

Good idea. He can be Sheena Easton.

Don't worry, the costumes end up looking absolutely nothing like the drawings ,so silver is still in with a chance

I do wish people who have such a serious problem touching someone other than their lawfully wedded spouse, or pretending a bit of passion for a dance partner, would just either not go on the show, or be quiet. (And I don't get why L&K seem to think that pretending to be romantically involved is so much more acceptable than pretending to be passionately involved? But that may just be me.)

And I do hope Kevin gets someone he's scared of next year. Older, sassy, unshockable and with a dirty cackle; prepared to slither around him in an entirely post-watershed fashion...

You've just put in a request for Barbara Windsor

That's a plot twist waiting to happen....Louise and Kevin are voted out in a shock bottom 2 against Danny and Oti this weekend. Brendan is ill again after dancing too much on Saturday so Anastacia needs another new partner and it's Kevin's turn this time

For some reason I misread that as Barbara Woodhouse. It's been a long day but still

Think of our poor ozone layer. We're probably at a critical point due to hairspray alone, TTF's hat is all that stands between us and a fiery death. If it wasn't for wardrobe handing him that hat every week...

Sorry, but more than being impressed by Danny's great dancing, I am seriously irritated by him. He is clearly a trained dancer and if he wasn't a professional actor he would be a professional dancer. He should not have been selected for SCD. I watch him with extreme reluctance.

How I wish all of that would happen. Longing for a shock boot of epic proportion, to break apart what seems like the inevitable final trio of Danny,Ore and Louise. I fear only they can take each other out at this stage.

Well, yes, that's as maybe - but at least he hasn't judged a televised prime time dancing competition

The last couple of weeks, I've started to enjoy Danny and Oti as a pairing - mainly because he knows that he is only there as a puppet for Oti to play with and that <possibly literally> the only thing keeping him alive is getting through to the next week

Even better would be Cloudier & AJ taking Twimsy out via a dance off.

I do think we will lose one of them before the final. I wouldn't be surprised if either Cloudier or Greg made it to the final without troubling the bottom 2.
