I'm also warming to Danny as the weeks go on. There is a personality in there, maybe he was nervous about live TV early on!

Just catching up on ITT
That spare bloke Pro dancer is still too eager and still annoying me. Is he related to the Cliftons? Can someone please get Nancy's glitter coffin out of the Props store and lock him in it? |

Totally unappreciate the Halloween theme. Despise Halloween too.
Don't care what they wear. Has zero effect on me. Just dance well for heaven's sake. Although in some cases makeup and a cossie is a blessing when you're TTF or pimply Brenda! Disguise. It also gives some 'glam' where none exists *eye roll* |

I assumed - extremely good looking guy, extremely good dancer - I assumed he would be big headed and in love with himself. I assumed wrong. I'm just enjoying watching him dance without being annoyed at all. |

And as for shoe-horning dances in to inappropriate music just because it contains the word 'magic' or 'spell' - just let them dance properly FFS. |

Same here - cannot stand it and refuse to have anything to do with it. Don't open the door on Halloween as despise the idea of trick or treat.

Eyeballs were a bit sickly though. ![]() Re Halloween unappreciating........... at least this year it is a Jordans free zone. Small mercies and all that.

I have got to get this out of my system. I do not think it's an incredibly high standard this year. I think it's a very average year.

I just scoffed some Halloween mini buns. They had fondant eyeballs on them.

What do you mean moth is a pants Halloween theme?
Moths scare the crap out of me. A Rinder sized moth with his dancing facial expressions is enough to scare me into not watching! 😬😢👻 I like Judge though and I'm hoping his narrative will go like Kellies last year where at some point he'll just be allowed to do a beautiful Ballroom in tails with appropriate music. Well I can hope! And - completely devoid of unappreciation - like many here, I rather like Danny. Enjoy his dances, and find him and his partnership with Oti quite pleasing - not artificial, not trying too hard to be 'someone'. Just rather likeable.

I too expected not to like Danny.
I expected him to be like Mark Wright. Faking his ever so 'umbleness etc. But I haven't found him to be like that at all. I have enjoyed every dance he's done immensely. I still unnappreciate the Cliftons being forced down our throats - you WILL like them, you WILL vote for them to win. Well I DON'T like them and I bloody well SHAN'T vote for them. |

Each year I'm amazed how much parents will pay for Halloween costumes for their kids, it's all peer pressure. Looking at how much space stores are prepared to devote to Halloween stock is indicative that it's grown to being really big business. Probably helps to off-set the yearly decline in sales of Easter eggs.

I think Asda is responsible for a lot of the Halloween merchandise filling our stores. They are American owned and because Halloween is so huge over there, they go crazy with stock and their rival stores have followed suit to try and compete. |

BIB - Yes and Yes. No wonder he pulls funny faces, because he's been given funny - according to some - routines. Maybe he would pull a romantic face for a romantic routine? I do hope we'll find out soon! I'd never heard of him before this and although he appears to be rather witty, those faces are enough to put me off. |

I'm already sick of being told how wonderful Louise's Charleston is going to be - maybe its just me but it didn't look THAT great in the training footage? It just feels so blatant that its being hyped up as "the" dance of the night and will probably get 10s chucked at it just because they want someone different to top the leaderboard for a change.
![]() I know the Cliftons aren't too popular in here, personally I like them - but Louise just bores me. I wouldn't miss her at all if she left soon, barring a major breakthrough (as in an actual one, not being told she's had one!) I hope she doesn't get to the final. |

I think Jwann might be contacting James for tips on how to shake off a super invested celeb.

The Charleston is being set up as her performance breakthrough - the sign posts have been pointing in her direction all week. We can only hope she pulls a Greyson-jive and cocks up on the night, leaving the judges flustered as their carefully-constructed scripts and 10s fall to the wayside...

Nah, Danny is far more clued up than Mark Wright. He knows that Oti has his name written on her hand to remind her who is and that he is only there as glitterball facilitator

I like the unpredictability of him and Jo. Wonderful umbrella routines or the pushbike. Who can tell what we'll get? |

Maybe it's just the accent and how he finds the training so hard every week, together with the severely limited vocab on ITT. Honestly... um... honrstly... um... Really! Etc. Seems like a match. But I dunno. A lot of Mark Wright's qualities have disappeared from my memory.

Ditto his comment the other day that he'd have been happy to gets 2s from the judges - yeah right! |

I was chuffed when he was announced - like him on Breakfast and <shallow mode> he's easy on th eye. He seems to have cherry picked all the bits of past celebs that irritated me (Dr Hammy/Greyson/MDF) and mounded them into one. I do still like him but he's on thin ice
