There is a corner over there. I suggest you go and stand in it and think seriously about the image you have just put in people's minds.

Not hard.... no seriously, NOT hard.

And what else was Nat going to do with such an effing stupid song choice? I'd like to see Craig choreograph a recognisable, content-full rumba to it. Then, and only then, can he criticise. And even if she was protecting her celeb, isn't that what pros are supposed to do? (Ola and Krotchtina both did it for years!)

Oops. I actually liked (most of) hair and make-up tonight, and (most of) the costumes, too. Daisy looked particularly stunning, as did Gio (I do like watching him dance). I even liked Tess’s dress and hair. And the butterfly/moth thing was surprisingly all right – not too much CBeebies after all, as I feared during the VT…

But before I have to go and hang my head in shame, I can unappreciate Craig loud and clear. I do sort of see where he was coming from, but the whole scoring Ed-Anastacia-Greg was a mess. It always worries me when at the end of the evening I look to Bruno for sanity.

And the music didn’t help (what’s new). And the VTs were altogether dire. Sorry, I’m not being very original here.

No wow dances, sadly.

Just whizzed through the dances (apart from TTF, which my machine wisely decided I didn't want to see anyway).

What the flip was that Charleston by Ore about, since when was that a Halloween song, and why the decision to dress him as Lenny doing DB, Jwann like a raggedy Ann doll that had been rudely molested by an Alsatian and then dance it seemingly based on Toto Coelo doing I eat Cannibals

If that jive was Brendan's swing song it's what he would have wanted, Dracula fantasys, classic soft rock, lots of bum sticking out that the cape couldn't quite hide and he got to whizz around on a hover board

Err, quite liked Greg's, hopefully Nat will get the chance to get a Michael Vanghan QS out of him.

Still bemused at how camp Ed the dance floor is

Most unintentional hilarious choice for Harley Quinn though (who is basically a happy go lucky slutty type of character).

This is the same Bruno who gave Anastacia 7 and **everybody** else either 8 or 9?

Although tbf, Darcey and Len also only used their 7, 8, and 9 paddles tonight. (I want the rolleyes smiley back!!!)

I love a man in guyliner, but you may well have just put me off for life. I now have a mental image of TTF wearing guyliner and socks with those elasticy clippy gartery things.

Where's the Jack.

I wish I could say that I was sorry but I'm not.
Anton in guyliner had already ruined it for me, so it's only fair to pass it on.

There's a huge part of me that would love Louise to have been on last year, partnered with Gleb. Every dance would be a smorgasbord of him floor bothering and dry humping the furniture whilst Louise stood in the corner refusing to take off her cardigan.

Oh, now I feel totally robbed of Brian Fortuna in a Hallowe'en week. I wonder if they would have gone for the full Count get-up or would it have been lazy?

Sometimes, music, dance and makeup can work perfectly - see Pixie's tango. But I don't think any completely pulled together for me tonight. Danny's was probably the closest, but sadly with mistakes...

You think Louise (or Jamie for that matter) would have ever contemplated her participation in a show that contained Gleb? I bet she won't even watch him on DWTS in case of cross screen contamination.

I'm sorry, I must object to that on behalf of Eric Morecambe's ghost.

I thought they did both look ridiculous and annoying (though I smirked to see Ore looking so uncool) BUT I do think "I want candy" is a really clever left-field choice for Hallowe'en with its reference to irritating trick-or-treaters (in my day it was apple-bobbing or nothing!)

Thank you! You've just reminded me of who Ore has reminded me off and I just couldn't place it and that's it totally!

I absolutely unappreciated to the moon and back the shocking VTs this week, probably the worst yet.

Also wasn't particularly inspired by many routines, loved the technical excellence of Claudia & AJ but hated the song, Ed and Katya's routine had me howling and nearly crying, great entertainment and a fair bit of dance content but hugely overmarked. Laura & Giovanni's Tango was good too.

Loved the costuming and idea behind Daisy & Alijaz's Paso, loved the song, just felt she was a little stiff in her body but had some lovely hand shaping. Everyone else was middling, did feel bad for Danny though.

Do I remember rightly last year Craig luuurving KK's stomping on a table VW? Recognisable VW? Pffft

Just a few hip rotations would have helped though. I actually thought Craig was fair... I agreed with him a few times this week actually, which is pretty scary stuff.

It's very odd, as she should be smoking out those younger women, being a hot MILF, and yet she comes across as some geeky girl (with ungainly feet) before the transformation in those predictable American highschool comedies.

And with Kevin as her partner that will not change.

Like Sandy in Grease, without the sexy costume at the end?

I want to unappreciate Kevin because I think he's a bit wet....

I'm not sure he had time for the kind of hip rotations necessary for the Rumba, considering the tempo left them little time to do anything but sprint from move to move like I had the show on fast forward.
