All I could hear was the piano.

Noticed Sarah Hadland blurted out about Glipb & cosmetic work.

I actually love her voice. But the piano was distracting.

I thought it was hilarious how Kevin shoehorn in the digg at Glebs vanity. And the Katie followed it.
Maybe Kevin is a bit of a DOT in training.

Jesus, don't tell Zoe & Vernon a secret, their panicked covering was pathetic.

I was only joking about allergy to filler but I was right

I watched the film last night. Hardly anyone else features at all. Not in any way that I could imagine them being needed for characterisation in a Rumba the story is about the two of them.

Maybe Aliona is going down the Brendan / Sunetra rumba route and introducing backing dances to do the majority of the routine with the celeb while the pro lounges against a palm tree / has a fag / does their nails

Honestly there is a mother but the film is about a love square 2 people falling in love but having significant others and also a broken Hoover.

I just don't think the mother has much to do .

The film / musical is called Once , are you thinking of The Falling?

Maybe the backing dancers are standers by. Or the significant others at the beginning and then they return to them at the end?

See, I feel robbed. If this had been The Matt Baker Years, Aliona would have choreographed a rumba based on the existential angst of a broken vaccuum cleaner. HOOOOOOOO[VER] NEEEEEWWWW YYYOOOORRRRRKKK!

I don't get why everyone thinks Aliona is going to take the film literally

It's just a starting point surely, I'm not expecting Jay to be busking in the street with a guitar case in the streets of Dublin? I'm really not expecting Aliona to turn up in a cardi & A line skirt or Jay in checked shirt

They'll take their lead from the words of the song, rather than the setting of the film imo

I can't deny I'm rather scared Aliona is going to REVERT to overcontemporareh load of incomprehensible waftybollocks.

Please don't don't don't Aliona

I agree with you on everything except I think he might have a checked shirt. He's got jeans and a shirt according to his Facebook Q&A. I suppose wardrobe will have stuck some sequins (or pins) on it for shine.

Surely if Jay has any say in his Ward Robe at all - he'll deffo be in a checked shirt

I'm hoping that Kev has used up the quota of literal film choreography this(/every) week.

I think we are agreeing.

I'm saying I don't believe they'd have backing dancers because the film is just about them so who on earth would the backing dancers be portraying.

It sounds like you're saying the same?

I definitely watched once. It was called Once and Had Falling Slowly in it.
