Yes,she has certainly not had the fairy tale Strictly journey more a wet Monday on Network South East. Her final dance will be forever remembered for Joe Varney's spins. The final is going to be a bit awks isn't it, Will perhaps coming back to dance with Karen, Tameka screaming it should have been me, and Laura holding Gio at arms length.
I keep seeing this name in various posts. Who is this person?

Giovanni.

I think it comes from Georgia's attempts to pronounce it last year.

Generally - he must have felt on top of the world weeks 2 & 3 and it's been more of a struggle since then and the last two weeks have been particularly tough, with a dance that went wrong and horrible theme and now a bottom two.

I always feel a bit sorry for the celebs who seem to have a downward curve - the Jakes and Sophies who get their great dances too early (or are overmarked early and then brought crashing back down to earth). It must be much easier to be a steady improver, and there's a certain amount of luck in the way the order of the dances falls and what suits you.

Still, he's got plenty of time to pick himself back up. Much the same happened to jay after the jive and he came back in the back end of the series with a really strong series of dances in his salsa, tango, rumba and charleston. Ore can pick up too, although Jay never had to deal with the bottom two and had no reason to doubt his public support - quite the reverse!
Thanks for the fulsome reply. Jake's descent from series winner in week 2 to out in the semis was similarly bumpy. Wonder if Cloudier will come good and bump him out of the final 3. Twimsy and Doti seem bullet proof.

Oh Ore, if you're trying to say you can do a figure of eight (never mind An Throp's earlier objections), maybe you might want your hips to do, y'know, a figure of eight. Not a figure of zero.
On all series, it always makes me laugh when a judge criticises a celeb's lack of hip movement during their routine, then when standing getting judges comments they go beserk rolling and thrusting their hips, saying "like this? I can do it". I always want to scream "well why the bliddy hell didn't you do it in the dance then"!!!!

Because he still couldn't do it.

Leave aside your not supposed to do a figure of 8 in a salsa, he had no hip action at all.

You know Ed may do it, in order to do it you have to move your weight through your hips in other words, mince a bit😀. He can do that, he's camper than Christmas

That was quite a brisk business like goodbye pat from Laura for Gio She seemed quite relieved to be going...
It looked like she gave a pat on his shoulder as if he was her chauffeur to signal him to get her luggage, lol.

Doti doing an AT sounds fab-u-lous.

Just wondering what twee kiddy nonsense they can inflict on Cloudier for her VW. At this point I'm only slightly surprised they haven't given her "The Wheels on the Bus go Round and Round".

Louise was wonderful. So patient isn't she? Such a paragon of mum-dom. I kind of love her for her resolute mediocrity. "No Kevin, we're not going to get excited. You'll only be sick and then we'll all be sorry."

Sorry for the confusion, that did make me laugh We could do with an unappreciation thread glossary pinned somewhere.

Not a lot AJ can do to draw attention to himself in a VW.
I'm just a bit concerned that he might get Claudia to attempt a "Wonder Woman" spin.

I feel sorry for her.
From before the first show she appears to have been getting a rough time just because of who she was paired with.
Then she was in the dance off.
Then her leg dropped off.
Then she missed a week.
Then she had to do a Worzel Gummidge and find another dancing leg to screw on.
Then she had a good week!
Then she's out.
And her leg is still only hanging on by a thread.

As a Strictly journey, it's pretty sucky.
I'm not surprised she was a bit relieved.
I think it's maybe harder for soopafans to land in the bottom 2 than those who never watched before. They truly know how unpopular they are.

Yes, it takes a soopafan to know that 'people thought you were safe' cuts no ice, at all.

Please don't beat me up but I don't appreciate the constant mentions of Jay on this forum. I know that he won last year but can't we just move on. Anyone would think that he was the first ever good male celebrity that has ever been on the show. I didn't get the appeal of him last year.

I genuinely think next week Louise will do her dance in a nice twin-set from Marks and Spencer. I've never seen such a sexless pairing on strictly before!
I have. Rachel & Pasha.

It's always the quiet ones...
