Yes not usually a conspiracy theorist but what are the PTB playng at this week? Danny has been shafted and so has Ore. Can you imagine if they both end up in the bottom two, the forum will explode with the racism card.
It's just so blatant though. Do the producers really think that the viewers are so dim that we won't notice what they're up to? It could backfire spectacularly - people don't like being manipulated into voting. It might be that they have seen how Ore is coming across, and are happy to throw him and Danny under a bus to ensure that Miss Magnolia and TTF get to the final. |

Just tried listening to a live version of Heard it Through the Grapevine whilst watching some AT from 2014.
It was not as awful as expected. The live HITTG is slightly slower and is less obviously soul based. |

The walk is important because if you're not careful the black felt trilby will fall off. *runs away very fast to hide behind wiskas*
![]() ITT said their AT was 'fast and fun'. Don't tell sofakat, it'll finish her off.

That's what we all want, isn't it? Those are the first two adjectives that spring to mind when you think AT. |

It's just the complete inappropriateness unnecessarily so that is so blantent. It's Jake and the Greek AT when they wanted to get rid of him all over again.
If the manoeuvre Danni into a bottom 2 and make him leave it will be Wuzz robbed all over the place. The theme this year appears to be battle of the Cliftons in the final at all cost and it will cause so much ill feeling. I really like the WUZZROBBED club , for me it started with Gethin and that waltz, through Austin and the whole manipulation, Pixie, Helen, Sophie and the non appearance of that series defining Charleston. Any other dance? Anyone of that series. If anyone says TTF in his long socks with Susanna lying dead for ever Paso I will hunt you down and inflict real damage. I am at that stage of grief done denial, no doing anger! |

I don't want to open old wounds here -and I'm generally up on my wuzrobbed history- but how did the producers meddle with Geth's waltz? I dimly recall Monkseal saying that he must have had a bigger popular vote than Alesha but I can't remember how that must have been worked out.
I don't think it was Gethin's Waltz - but Matt's semi final 40 scoring Waltz? Always hard in a dance off going against a perfect dance (whether it deserved it or not )

I'm not convinced anyone is trying to shaft Doti particularly, but I do think they might be trying to level the playing field somewhat. He was clearly the best natural dancer (ignoring ringerdom) from week 1. It looks to me as though the judges, whether consciously or not, are marking him to a different scale to the other contestants. If anything, it may help him not to have ever been a clear leaderboard leader.
As the competition levels out and the worse ones leave, it will all re-balance itself. On form, Greg, Ed and Daisy will go next (in no particular order) and then the war can really start. |

I'm not sure whether to ask this in here or the Ballroom and Latin dancers thread but... Ian mentioned that Danny needed stillness to create light and shade in the routine. Is this something he can execute whatever or is it down to cheoreography to give him that opportunity? I thought the latter but Ian mentioned it yesterday so I wondered if a celebrity can do something to instigate that flow of movement?
Regarding Doti and Jore - my biggest concern is they both have relatively slow dances. The last time that happened, in week five when Doti had the Rumba and Jore the Waltz, it was a pretty dull show overall. Especially when you add into it this time that those with the fast dances aren't the most adept at them in Alisey, Edya and Natareg; all the accomplished dancers except for Alisey have ballroom or slow latin. We might be relying on Gangnam Style to save the show!

I think it would be fair to assume that Ed, Rob and Greg are topping the public vote - and I'd say both Ed and Rob are playing to their strengths this week. Greg will depend on how much 'ole!' Nat has managed to get in. |

Ballroom people rally should not talk about AT unless they have studied it for at least 5-6 years. They have some very weird ideas about what it is, and they are always wrong! ![]() ![]() [/QUOTE]To be fair, I'm not certain the posters concerned are ballroom dancers.... |

To be honest, I think the person who is really eyeing the wheels of the bus is Ore. He gets a 'nice' rhumba with Jwann doing a slowed down version of the move he couldn't do last week. Bottom 2 bounce hasn't been such a 'thing' this year and I can see a Ore/Daisy dance off this weekend. Purely on training clips, can see Louise/Cloudia at the top and the rest sloting in depending on judges whim/ties.
I think it would be fair to assume that Ed, Rob and Greg are topping the public vote - and I'd say both Ed and Rob are playing to their strengths this week. Greg will depend on how much 'ole!' Nat has managed to get in. Louise tends to look very good in training footage and doesn't seem able to deliver on the dancefloor - the nearest I've seen her coming to performing, rather than dancing well technically, was last week. Greg's Paso may be the clincher. He still moves like a confused puppet, but it should suit him and I'm sure Natalie will come up with something suitably dramatic. Not sure Joanne can do the same with Ore. |

I think it was the 3-way semi final + dance off?
I don't think it was Gethin's Waltz - but Matt's semi final 40 scoring Waltz? Always hard in a dance off going against a perfect dance (whether it deserved it or not )Ore vs Daisy does seem the most likely Bottom 2, because it's the easiest route for them to get Daisy (who is irrelevant at this point having had her personal "victory" last week just like Anastacia and Laura both had theirs the weeks before they left) out and still keep the competition as a whole feeling open. Ore doesn't seem the type to get "blokerumba" pity votes but I think he can still win a dance-off over Daisy's latin. |

The thing is, since the judges aren't too clear about what a decent AT involves (beyond lifts, flicky kicks and Gertcha)as long as Danny and Oti produce something resembling a SCD AT, they'll be fine. Doesn't have to be a good proper AT.
I'm only concerned that the sheer length and power of Oti's legs have the potential to do some serious damage to Danny's Happy Place if they get the timing wrong. Ore and Joanne doing slow and sensual rumba? Considering they managed to make a routine -involving a fireman getting his kit off, a stripper pole and music from the Full monty - unsexy, I can see them being in the danger zone. The judges praised his lacklustre Salsa to the heavens and he still didn't get the votes. |
