Remembering the days when they had a dancer, a musician and Julien? on the panel and each would discuss their area of expertise - dance, music, costumes. Good times!

I dunno about punished, but the guy I thought was going to be a complete bot is turning out to be quite the little subversive.

Exactly!

You had two there who have a considerable following amongst viewers, in their most well known programmes, which had absolutely no connection with Strictly......... and Anneka Rice. "Help me out here," why was she there?
It's all about getting viewers to watch programmes, the actual content and quality of said programmes is of secondary importance.

Ballroom tango will be to Barbie Girl by Aqua. It will follow a hilarious VT where Oti takes Danny snorkelling in a tank of piranhas to get him in the mood.

I'm an escaped Catholic too and Church buildings scare me. I can't get inside. I think it might be the smell. I get breathless and light-headed in them. Managed to get into Holy Trinity Church to see where Shakespeare is buried. Did brill until I spotted people kneeling...

My most religious moment, belieeeeeve this or not, was spotting the actual end of a rainbow landing by a disused dried-up holy water thingy for wayfarers outside a Church that sits on a ley line leading to ancient stones. Only thing missing was a leprechaun.

(Do other lapsed religious people still pray, btw? Habit is hard to break)

Or (me being cynical) is reading from the subversive script...

He's not naturally gifted in rebellion like Tris was!

I love Churches
I just like the idea of these places being used for worship for centuries - way before organised religion in lots of cases - and think that build up of faith is powerful.

Few are
Mainly just Tris and OurLeona the eyeroll Queen 🙄
Although Oti is giving it a good go. Maybe it's her influence on Danny

Danny's still got a lot to lose. Tris didn't after the third Dance Off.

Do leprechauns count as religious visions?

As to the praying, you're right, very hard habit to break. I pass the site of the Clapham rail crash on my way to work and always mutter a couple of Hail Marys in my head for those poor folk who died just going to work.

Careful, Mims, that's sounding dangerously like a relevant VT...

(That's the first sentence btw, not the third!)

My thoughts exactly. Don't think Danny's being subversive when he says what everyone else online is saying ("how can Heard it through the Grapevine be an AT") and then bottishly goes on to tell the viewers to wait and see the great version they're dancing to. Also yesterday on ITT: telling us how he'd mostly been looking forward to the jive (the previous programming had him mostly looking forward to the quickstep.)

I do enjoy him and Oti, though.
