I also really like Gleb-less Anita. I should like to go on a night out with her.

I honestly think that in strictly very few actually learn to dance. Most of them learn to dance specific routines or not even that.”

I just think that Gleb has been terribly lazy. He's been lucky enough to be paired with someone who has the ability and the attitude and he's seemingly frittered that away. He said on ITT it's hard to teach someone whose never danced before (which was a shock - I wish they'd have made it clearer she was a complete novice at the start. So lax) which - yeah, isn't that supposed to be your job?

Unfortunately for him, his partner also has brains, and I'm getting the feeling she is more than aware and it's beginning to rankle just a tad. I said before that I think they have a working relationship that takes its cue from how the dance they are doing is going. Last week was awkward and this week is positively tetchy.

I'm going with taking the piss. He also said about building the knowledge of the dance steps week on week and getting transferable skills. He so reads here

I'm unappreciating that after reading the comments on last night's ITT I think I had better not watch it, otherwise my irritation factor will be going through the roof!

Why don't they do the dress rehearsal pics so I can see what Kellie is wearing any more. Why, why

I think they all look reasonable for tonight. This is going to be all on public vote and who is popular. Some haven't been tested yet. Only Kellie been in bottom two.

Unappreciating my friend is coming for weekend. He watches programme once. doesn't understand blogs or spoilers, never watches ITT. There is no way I can wait until tomorrow on this one.

Georgia hasn't been tested at all and Helen to a lesser extent.

I think Anita, Jay and Katie have all been low enough to show support is there.

See the Christmas special has former champs in it, but why is notclooney and Alison Hammond in it. I was thinking it might be safe to watch without Brucie

I think Helen's been tested a couple of times - first for her rumba (only Jeremy, Katie, and Carol and a deceptively competitive (that week) Jamelia below her) and secondly for her Charleston, where she was third from bottom and we didn't know that Peter's vote had gone off the rails. She also had the disadvantage in both cases of having obviously "messed up" (more so with the Charleston) and not been dinged by the judges for it, which made her look more protected than she was. If anything I'd say she's been tested more than Anita has (which is not to say that she's more popular, obv.)

Oh I have always known this and his most unpleasant trait has been to encourage us the audience to laugh AT his celebrities.

This year he is happy with his celeb so he is encouraging others to laugh at other things,

His behaviour towards Nancy, Jerry and Fiona Fullerton was extremely unpleasant.

This year he seems better because his subversion isn't directed towards his celeb.

That's received wisdom in some quarters, but it's not a view I've ever espoused. We all perceive things differently.

Tristan has bought a holiday hat for his time on Erin Island (on the far left!) I don't think it suits him.

He likes Srtictly but doesn't realise there is a whole lot of stuff going on around it. Thinks you watch the programme on a Sat and that's it.

I love Anita when she's with Jay like on Chatty Man or ITT last night, she brings out his naughty side and they have a giggle, he rounds off her competitive, driven edges.

I think he specifically means it's hard to teach someone who hasn't danced before but has a degree of natural talent. Apparently he was really good with a useless celeb on DWTS, he could charm her, do very little work and be seen as gracious with his duffer. Apparently, he was a bit like Tristan is on ours 😱😱😱

But as you said, he just doesn't want to put the work in with someone new to dance but with innate talent.
