I mean, she's Shadow Home Secretary, unless she abandons all her principles and joins the Tories that's pretty much as good as it's going to get on the left for the next decade.
Is this foolish optimism? Can't do any harm, I figure... |

I'd like to unappreciate being so out of it that I've been thinking it was Saturday for the last half an hour and started looking forward to Strictly tonight. Perhaps I should stop mainlining coffee for a while

It's a variation of madness... As a rider to this foolish optimism, I caught myself out the other night in the fear I used to have as a wee sprogg when every loud plane made my heart beat in horror like it was the first nuclear warhead. Thank you, President elect Trump. What a way to live! |

She is a back bencher now with nowhere to go after her rather dismal attempt to become Labour leader, I doubt Ed Balls will go back to parliament unless the political landscape changes rapidly, he has been as far as he can go there.

You lot have been busy! Almost like the old days, lots of pages to catch up on. Well, two. Quote:

You have no clue as to how Trump will perform, he won and won pretty easily so he deserves his chance, it wasn't as if the alternative was too appetising.

He won where he needed to, played the system perfectly. Stacking up votes in strong areas was futile, if the system was different no doubt Trump would have played a different game. It was in real terms not even close, a comfortable Trump win.

Do you think so? I feel that Trump victory is scary enough to pull the rug from the middle-ground that the Labour right (to their shame) and the non-patrician side of the Tory party have been sustaining. The politics of that 'centre' are being seen for what they are. There's a better chance now (I hope!) for a proper anti-austerity Govt than we had before. I know sections of the press have been trying to normalise Trump and so keep the lid on things for a few more years, but it's not going to work, is it!?!
Is this foolish optimism? Can't do any harm, I figure... Now, about the perving. What do you fancy? Italian footballers, Irish actors, assorted musicians.... ? |

I have been watching Black Books lately I feel I must suggest Dylan Moran.
Not only physically a very nice specimen, but he would also go straight to my heart by making me laugh. |

I guarantee that nothing as uncouth as teabagging goes on in Redknapp Towers. Louise has probably convinced Jamie that a Saturday night special is being allowed to watch Match of the Day in his pants. |

Cosmo is far too obsessed with the mucky business that must not be named for Louise. Quote:
But there won't be articles like that in Woman's Weekly or Good Housekeeping. Surely Cosmo is way too racy for Louise?
Woman's Weekly has been forever tainted by Victoria Wood exposing it as an instrument of S and M. It has no place in Redknapp Towers, although Louise may sometimes be found having a surreptitious flick through when she's at the hairdresser's. |

Not watching ITT at the moment (will watch on download later), but you are not making it sound appealing...
May deploy FF button ![]() ![]() I don't feel that i've missed out on anything with the rest. I mourn for the day when ITT used to be must watch tv for me. These days i'm normally out taking the kids to/from their various out of school activities and I can't be arsed to catch up afterwards. |
