Thanks , I will see can I watch that online . Much as I unappreciate Zoe's repetitive " how much ? " questions Rinder signed on for Strictly and not Mastermind !!
He doesn't have the charm or wit to pull off being sarky and ends up looking like a sulky toddler or a rolling eyed teenager |

To be fair, I don't think it was a snark at Gethin, as such, more the questions. He had been rolly eyed with Zoe the day before at the obviousness of the answers and he'd more or less been asked the same things again the day after.

Sighs whistfully for that one glorious year when we all gathered to point and laugh at the costume reveal from the dress rehearsals.
It was like a little aperitif prior to the main show Now we have to make up our own. I am going for Ed in a fully sequinned jacket, I would go for trousers too but Anton appears to have patented them. |

It's such a hard work to be nice to people for the whole 30 seconds, apparently. It's a light programme for the fans of SCD, not some deep philosophical discussion.

*wanders in with crate of Jameson and 40 Raspberry ciders, plus entourage and petit fours*
Couch therapy and motivation and body language? Where has the NAT gone? Is this the day that NAT died? Politics as well? Dear lord. *summons crate carrier and entourage and leaves for the Maldives* |

Dear lord. *summons crate carrier and entourage and leaves for the Maldives* sulks - stomps out looking for staff. Totally unappreciating that because of some humourless sods I had to trawl through the utter crap that ITT has descended into to find out what Bobby Rinder did or said that was so bad some folks seem to believe he should be taken out and shot - it was funny for FFS - I blame all this on Trump and his addle-brained supporters. Buggers off to Erin Island sans entourage but with crates. |

IMO if we have an issue with a thread or post or posts then by all means question them on that thread , or have a discussion out there .But it was never the trend on the NAT to unappreciate others opinions in here and snigger about it . In doing so then posters will come and defend themselves in here . Just my opinion |

Sometimes, with Strictly you get the impression that the concept and format is set in stone, The person asking the questions may change but the questions remain exactly the same ... it could be Claudia or Zoe or Gethin or any of the special backstage guest interviews asking the questions of any contestant past or present. All they do is reach into the cupboard, find the pile marked Blackpool and change the names.

As we have a shiny new thread....
The DOT Manifesto (2014 version) As we have a new part of the thread it's time for a reiteration of the DOT Manifesto for those who are too drunk and can't remember or are newby de-lurkers. ________________ What is a Non-App thread? Well, it's the anti-thesis of an App thread, where you can come to have moan or a laugh, shamelessly take the mick out of the show that we all love. And make up nicknames. It's somewhere where you can air little niggles and that is !!!11!!! free, where people don't deliberately misconstrue, don't use up the whole of DS's supply of capital letters and use smilies for their intended purpose. You can say all the things that would get you thrown out of an App thread. We welcome anyone with a witty comment and an attitude. Why does X pull such weird faces? What on earth has Y got on her head, and is it dead? Is Z wearing that dress for a bet, and how much did she lose? What would Bruce have done if.....? Basic T&Cs of this thread (which have no legal basis whatever) • Bring a sense of humour with you, and a bottle. • Don't come on here for a whine about another thread please You can *just* about say anything on here, just be amusing. • You don't have to be drunk - just act like it. • If you think we are all horrible, try another thread..... ....But you'll be back by the semi-final when it all goes wild out there For all the pish taking the posters in here, we actually love the show as much (if not more, truth be told) than a lot of people 'out there' We do our best not to be cliquey but admit that we can lapse into "Non-App Speak"...if you don't understand a nickname or a reference, just ask. You don't have to be a whisky drinking middle aged woman of Irish extraction with a cat or two. It just helps. PS - DOT stands for Drunken Old Tart. (Young Teetotal Ladies and Men are also welcome) |

So what we really need is for someone to get into that cupboard and sabotage the cards. Who should we nominate? I mean Judge Rinder seems like the obvious choice right now. He can probably get away without Oksana noticing and if he's writing the question cards, we could end up with all sorts. Though we might end up with lots of questions about just how much everyone appreciates teachers and war veterans and I'm not sure how much of that I could take. It would most likely end with Ore in tears and Cloudia wondering why people keep insisting she must still be close to her school teachers. Ed would just think he'd ended up back on Question Time by mistake.
Unless she pops up in each interview like a dancing gooseberry - I wouldn't mind that. ![]() EDIT: They could dress her as a dancing gooseberry... she'd still look better than some in the main show costumes! |

Do we start the mourning for the NAT? Lost somewhere off Bognor. Now there's a thought. Do I need to send the helicopter for you? |
