What on earth was Ore's dance - a VW with jazz hands and falling over partnered by an M&S Marilyn

Oh Gosh I thought it was tiny twee frog. Tiny frog on account of the Indiana Jones dance and twee on account of his routines generally being twee.

And how the F did it get 38?????
Personally, I can't wait until the final and to see TTF's face when once again, he is NOT called the winner. |

But haven't we been saying that all series??? This series more than any other has seen the most ridiculous marking ................. and it is all about 'get a Clifton to the final'.
Personally, I can't wait until the final and to see TTF's face when once again, he is NOT called the winner. ![]() Given Jore's fixed smile when Doti got the first 40, and the distracted pouting at the end when he'd been tasked with the open sign, the only result I would celebrate from the current front runners would be a Doti win. Either Clifton would be insufferable... |

Louise could do it you know! Don't be so confident about a Doti win.

Ed has more chance than Louizzzze. He is likely to have a good showdance if he gets that far. What will she do? A quick tidy up with a feather duster and a sit down with a cup of tea and two digestives?
I wouldn't be shocked if Kevin makes his 3rd final without a dance off put it that way. |

Frankie all over except I think she was second, nice gets you so far but doesn't cut it to winner status. This is my theory and I am hanging on for grim death to it. The other part of me says ok give Kevin the win the PTB Zso desperately want him to have then give him a duffer next year so he can be out really soon. If he does win Danni will forever be a WUZZROBBED and they tend to be fondly remembered. |

Unfortunately don't agree. Louise's seems stupidly popular outside of this forum. Always in the top 3 on FB and Twitter. She as consistent as Danny. Ed is up and down for popularity, on a ballroom week I don't think he has been getting the votes that would see him safe now there's less couples, but his run in over the last two weeks could see him through his next couple of ballrooms.
I wouldn't be shocked if Kevin makes his 3rd final without a dance off put it that way. |

My totally unscientific vox pop of people at work and last night with wine has Ed and Danny as most popular, Cloudia popular with the tweeny daughters, Ore, Rinder and Greg fading and Louise just there. Bearing in mind some of these are her 'target' audience of 40-something mum doing something for herself, she doesn't seem to have made that much of an impression.
Let's pretend that Claudia or Ore or Judge make the final with them, I can see her nicking it on the basis that people want Kevin to win. Heck it got Anton to the final last year! |

The dances just have to fall the right way, if Danny gives good dance and Louise fails to ignite especially if she is overmarked, than the public will push her into 3 rd place.

Yeah my work are target audience and they really like her (think she's a good dancer and really "nice") Danny and Ed and Judge Rinder. But most of all they really like Kevin and think it's about time he had a win!!! 😱
The only consolation being that TTF would be relegated to duffer duty ad infinitum. Whether Doti takes the glitter ball or not, there will be much comedy to be had from either/ both disappointed Cliftons barely concealed ire. And we already know from last night just how good Ore is at hiding his feelings, booing notwithstanding😣😣😣! |

I appreciate that if she has a bad dance for her (salsa Samba and she has to have at least 1) she could be in the d/o. Kevin has taken a gamble leaving both till so late in the comp. But I do think generally she has good support. Even on her worst dances (Cha Cha etc) her views likes shares retweets are top 4, whereas Judgey and Ed are like Yo Yos. |

The dance choices at the back end are going to be super important. Ed, like most komedy kontestants has done all of the dances where Komedy Kapers can be shoehorned in - jive/Charleston/all the salsambacha's and even the AS. He's left with a pretty boring run of potentially 'straight' dances unless there is another feeeme week on the horizon.

She did look like she was trying to give the beddding a nice air last night for a bit of variety. I kept expecting TTF to run on with a carpet beater to get the dust out of a blanket*

Berlimey. I am hardly daring to read the forums, let alone post on them at the moment.
Cloudier's jive was a big disappointment - she didn't look confident from the opening shot. Was highly amused by the subsequent need to arm-wrestle the leaderboard into something resembling sense. A great pity as I wanted that jive to be her breakout "I'm a contender" dance. So ... go ahead and shoot me. I enjoyed Ore's dance last night. Think Joanne produced something that worked in terms of coming through the screen to me - and that was pretty rare yesterday. I have no clue about its merits as a dance, but as a piece of theatre it did the job well. Louise's Paso worked right up to the point she ripped off her cloak and turned out to be wearing a pair of 2-for-one bargain curtains. Also, the close ups on her face did little to dispel her troubled vole look. Cersei Lannister she is not. Doti's charleston would have worked a treat in a smaller space perhaps? Mind you, if anyone is going to get a vaguely deserved 40, it's them. Personally I'd rather it had come for their QS, but you can't have everything and really, where else was the judging to go? They had to give some hint that they did a better dance than Cloudier. Anyone else feel it was a bit of a bizarre running order? Really don't think it did Greg, Ed or Rindy any favours to leave them in a heap to the end, but maybe that was the point. Didn't hate any of them, but didn't much adore them either. Surely one of them must go tonight. |

I just go on Stats TBH which have got the bottom 2 right every week so far and Louise is just always consistent and always there in the mix.

(With that music, all the backing dancers and TTF's brocade trousers last night - I kept expecting Michael Flatley to come charging in from stage right and knock TTF out of the way while he continued the number, so their paso fell a bit flat for me when that didn't happen )

I think if Claudia goes out tonight or soon, it would help Louise - production wouldn't want it to go all male so early before the final or perhaps not even for the final so she would be protected. I can see TTF dodging the salsa because I don't think he will be able to do such spectacular lifts as the male slebs can do/have done with their pro partners and that also puts some limits on their show dance if they get to the final.

Musicals Week is the week after next. Also if you can't see how they could stick comedy feeming into a tango or Argentine Tango you're not trying hard enough.
Although I don't think that was intentional comedy. |
